If you’ve played a Kirby game before, you might be aware that the developers sneak in a special room for the developer – HAL Laboratory. Kirby: Planet Robobot is no different, and also features a similar area. You can see what it looks like in the video below. It’s nothing too special, but it’s a nice little nod to HAL!

Johto Open competition coming to Pokémon Omega Ruby/Alpha Sapphire

The next Battle Competition for Pokémon Omega Ruby and Alpha Sapphire has been announced, this time focusing on Pokémon through the second generation. The online battles will let trainers use any Pokémon from numbers #1 through #248, excluding Mewtwo and Mew. Lugia, Ho-oh, and Celebi are also not permitted. Pokémon will all be scaled to Level 50, and Megas are not allowed. Players can compete in up to 15 matches a day. You can register from May 19 through May 26 and battle from May 27 to May 29. Prizes have not yet been announced.

Original Project X Zone removed from the 3DS eShop

Update 2: While the re-download button doesn’t display in the individual listing, you can currently grab the software again by visiting your list of “Redownloadable Software” on 3DS eShop (thanks Kaleo).
Update: The game is also unavailable in Europe (thanks lightdasher and Grimahim.
The first Project X Zone has disappeared from the North American 3DS eShop. On top of that, if you’ve downloaded it previously, a message stating “This software is currently unavailable” is displayed where the re-download button would be.
We’re not quite sure why Bandai Namco decided to remove Project X Zone from the eShop. Anyone in Europe know if this is the same situation there as well?
