The official website for Great Detective Pikachu: Birth of a New Duo has updated with details on the world and gameplay, as well as a host of new screenshots. The details have been translated by Serebii.

Gameplay revolves around exploring Rhyme City as protagonist Tim Goodman and his partner, Pikachu. Tim is able to interview humans to solve mysteries, while Pikachu interviews Pokémon. The player can also look around specific spots for evidence. Pikachu will sometimes notice details and offer hints or advice. The game also features quick-time events, although these do not seem to affect player progress.

The website has also given numerous details on the characters and world. Pikachu, for example, is able to talk but, because of this, cannot use normal Pokémon moves. Other new characters are also introduced. Mike Baker is the head of the detective agency. Amanda Blackstone is his assistant. Amelia Kristi is a new Assistant Director at a TV Station, and Meiko Okamoto is a TV Director. Pablo Milan is the owner of the High Hat Cafe.

Below are all the new screenshots that were added.

This week’s issue of Famitsu reveals Super Bike Rider: Gather! Super Beast Hunter, the latest Bike Rider entry for 3DS. The magazine has some extensive details about Spicysoft’s new game. It has the prefix “Super”, which means all aspects are being upgraded.

One of the new features is “Bike Super Beast”. Enemies will drop parts, and by combining them you’ll be able to obtain Bike Super Beasts with excellent stats. In total there are over 40 Bike Super Beasts.

SteamWorld Heist has done very well for Image & Form. In fact, the indie developer says that thus far, the game “is an even bigger success than SteamWorld Dig.” This is in terms of sales, reviews, and community feedback.

Image & Form wrote the following in a new website post:

“Is SteamWorld Heist successful?

Yes, it is! So far SteamWorld Heist is an even bigger success than SteamWorld Dig. Not just in terms of sales: Reviews and community feedback are through the roof!

At the time of writing SteamWorld Heist is tied with Monster Hunter 4 Ultimate for the highest rated 3DS game of 2015 (not counting remakes), according to Metacritic. We have no sales figures to share today, but rest assured we’re very pleased with the numbers.

Before our inflated egos won’t fit through the front door anymore we’d like to thank you. Without your support this wouldn’t have been possible!”

In other news, SteamWorld Heist’s first update which adds French, Italian, German, Spanish and Russian translations has been delayed slightly due to time constraints. It should be out “before you know it”, and it’ll come with “new surprises and lots of polish.”
