Coming from a Nintendo of Europe Press Release Chibi-Robo! Let’s Go, Photo is heading to the 3DS eShop on July 3rd. Here are the details that have been confirmed:

  • The game will make heavy use of the system’s cameras for Augmented Reality centered mechanics
  • Taking photos of real-life objects with in-game silhouettes will transform them into NostalJunk, sending it into the game
  • Earn Happy Points by helping a cast of new characters like a sushi-slinging squid or an eccentric pair of chefs who need Chibi’s help. Happy Points are used to buy more silhouettes
  • European players can enter NostalJunk Contests through SpotPass to win exclusive Chibi-Robo costumes for use in-game

Along with the screenshots above, we have an additional tidbit about the game. You can alter the Pokemon you use by touching the touchscreen for each Pokemon, or press the X, Y, or A buttons.
