Best Buy has a one-day sale running on its website that discounts various items. You can save $25 on a few 3DS XL systems including the recently-released Smash Bros. models. Additionally, Theatrhythm Final Fantasy: Curtain Call is $10 off.
Again, this sale is only live for one day. Be sure to keep that in mind!

Famitsu reveals the latest from developer Imageepoch – Stella Glow

This week’s Famitsu revealed the upcoming 3DS tittle from Imageepoch, a simulation RPG called Stella Glow.
The game is being made in honor of the company’s 10th anniversary, and will be set in a world of fantasy and magic.
Not many details have been released so far, but here is what we know:
– Quater view battle setup
– Story surounds the use of the “song magic” and “witches”

The Final Fantasy Explorers official website was recently updated and it added a whole lot of new content, most notably some in-game shots of Bartz from Final Fantasy V and Tidus and Yuna from Final Fantasy X! There’s quite a lot of new stuff including a heap of new screenshots and a few job trailers, which we’ve placed after the jump.

Bandai Namco’s new teaser site for Assassination Classroom: Grand Siege on Kurosensei can be found here. Three screenshots are included on the page, though they’re a bit difficult to see given how small they are. Other than that, there isn’t much to see currently!
More Smash Bros. Wii U/3DS DLC speculation

There’s more talk going around about Super Smash Bros. for Wii U/3DS potentially supporting DLC.
Messages have apparently been found in the 3DS version that could be used to create data for downloadable content, for instance. Other recently-discovered code could allow for character and stage DLC to be loaded.
Rumor has it that the shop will be titled “Notifications Shop” – at least in Japanese.
Will any of this pan out? Will Smash Bros. actually get any DLC? Only time will tell…

Plenty of ways to get a Pokemon Omega Ruby/Alpha Sapphire demo code in North America

Did you know that there are a bunch of different ways to secure a Pokemon Omega Ruby/Alpha Sapphire demo code in North America?
Nintendo made a new post on its website today outlining the various methods. Among other plans, there will be promotions at cinemas and retailers. Codes will also be given out to those who purchase Pokemon Art Academy (digital), Pokemon Puzzle Challenge, or Pokemon Trading Card Game.
Here’s the full lineup of Nintendo’s distribution plans for the demo:
- Codes will be distributed at select cinema locations nationwide from Nov. 7–Nov. 13 (while supplies last).
- Check with your local retailer during the holidays to find out about special demo code giveaways (while supplies last).
- Get a code with your purchase of the new Pokémon Art Academy game (out Oct. 24) when you buy from Nintendo eShop on your Nintendo 3DS or 2DS system.
- You’ll also get a code with your purchase of one of two classic Pokémon games coming to the Virtual Console service on Nintendo eShop: the Pokémon Puzzle Challenge game (out Nov. 6) or the Pokémon Trading Card Game (out Nov. 13). You’ll find your free demo code on your eShop receipt (download codes available while supplies last).
- Codes will be emailed the week of Oct. 31 to select Nintendo customers with Nintendo Network IDs who have signed up to receive promotional emails from Nintendo.
- Codes will also be distributed during the holiday mall tour from Nov. 24?Dec. 21 at 16 different locations throughout the nation. Talk to a staff member to try out Pokémon Omega Ruby, Pokémon Alpha Sapphire or any of the featured Nintendo 3DS games to receive two codes—one for you, and one for a friend (while supplies last).
