Amazon is the first to open pre-orders for Monster Hunter 4 Ultimate, and it looks like reservations just kicked off today. You can place an order here.

It was a little over a year ago that Natsume said it had no plans to localize Medabots 7. The company did at least give a small bit of optimism for the future by stating on its Facebook page, “Hopefully maybe the next one.”

Well, so much for that! Natsume told one fan on Twitter today that localizing the latest Medabots game, Medabots 8, is “out of our hands”. That also means “no current Medabots will be localized.”

Square Enix has made its PAX Prime 2014 lineup official today. On 3DS, attendees can go hands-on with Theatrhythm Final Fantasy: Curtain Call. Lara Croft and the Temple of Osiris, Kingdom Hearts HD 2.5 Remix, Nosgoth, Hitman: Sniper, Dragon Quest VIII: Journey of the Cursed King, and Dragon Quest IV: Chapters of the Chosen will also be featured at Square Enix’s booth.

PAX Prime 2014 will take place from August 29 to September 1. Square Enix’s offerings are located at booth #3630.

Nintendo has announced its lineup and plans for PAX Prime 2014.

On Wii U, players will be able to try out the following:

Super Smash Bros. for Wii U
Hyrule Warriors
Bayonetta 2
Captain Toad: Treasure Tracker
Sonic Boom: Rise of Lyric (SEGA)
Stealth Inc. 2 (Curve Digital)
Swords & Soldiers II (Ronimo Games)

And here’s what will be offered on 3DS:

Super Smash Bros. for Nintendo 3DS
Pokémon Art Academy
Azure Striker GUNVOLT (Inti Creates Co. Ltd.)

Nintendo also has a couple of specific things planned for Super Smash Bros. for 3DS and Hyrule Warriors:

With the recent completion of the Gamescom conference in Germany, Amazon revealed that Nintendo’s Wii U had the biggest increase in pre-orders.

Leading the pack is the upcoming Hyrule Warriors, releasing for North America, Europe, and Australia this September, with a 11.77% increase.

Other titles increases as follows;

1. Project CARS – 42.3 per cent increase
2. Rise of the Tomb Raider – 30.25 per cent increase
3. Bloodborne – 16.08 per cent increase
4. Hyrule Warriors – 11.77 per cent increase
5. Quantum Break – 10.77 per cent increase
6. Far Cry 4 – 9.53 per cent increase
7. Assassin’s Creed Unity – 9.44 per cent increase
8. Middle Earth: Shadow of Mordor – 9.03 per cent increase
9. Battlefield: Hardline – 8.81 per cent increase
10. Super Smash Bros for 3DS – 7.56 per cent increase
