Dillon’s Dead-Heat Breaker

Nintendo has a new trailer up for its 3DS game Dillon’s Dead-Heat Breakers. You can watch it below.

Sushi Striker

Sushi Striker now has a release date. Announced today, the game is coming on June 8. It will be a simulataneous Switch and 3DS launch as previously leaked.

WarioWare Gold is coming to 3DS, Nintendo has announced. 300 micro-games will be included. The game will launch on August 3.

Today’s Nintendo Direct will be kicking off in an hour from now. The presentation is expected to begin at 2 PM PT / 5 PM ET / 10 PM in the UK / 11 PM in Europe.

The new Nintendo Direct will cover Mario Tennis Aces as well as other games for both Switch and 3DS. The presentation should last about 30 minutes.

We have all three live streams (North America, Europe, Japan) below. If all goes well, Dennis will also be handling our live blog below. Expect new posts on the site as the big announcements are made. Enjoy the Nintendo Direct!

Nintendo Switch

Five new SKUs for Switch games have popped up in GameStop’s database. These are all mystery titles at present, as each one has the label “Available sku”.

It’s no secret that a Nintendo Direct will be held in just a few hours from now. We don’t have to tell you that there’s a high probability that these SKUs are related. Once the presentation ends, it’s possible that GameStop will begin taking pre-orders for whatever these products are soon after.

When Nintendo holds its big presentations, Nintendo NY often lets the fans stop by and watch them live. That will once again be the case with today’s Nintendo Direct.

If you happen to be near the store in the New York City area, head up to the second floor at 5 PM. You’ll then be able to view the Nintendo Direct with other fans as the broadcast happens.

Nintendo has updated its maintenance schedule once again, showing that a bunch of additional maintenance is planned for tonight. Sessions are planned for Pokemon Sun/Moon/Ultra Sun/Ultra Moon, the first Splatoon, and more.

Here’s the full schedule:

In addition to Mario Tennis Aces, Rakuten Books also leaked something else: Sushi Striker: The Way of Sushido, a 3DS game that was announced at last year’s E3 and hasn’t been heard from since, seems to be coming to Nintendo Switch as well, as you can see by the game’s boxart. Rakuten Books listed the game as releasing on June 8th this year. The 3DS version is also supposedly launching on the same day.

We will likely hear something official about this, including a Western release, in today’s Nintendo Direct.
