Those who intend to pick up the digital version of Fire Emblem Echoes: Shadows of Valentia may want to take advantage of pre-loading. In North America, you can do so right now.

Pre-loading lets you purchase the game ahead of time and download most of its data. Then upon release, you’ll only need a small update to begin playing. Nintendo will publish Fire Emblem Echoes: Shadows of Valentia at 12 AM ET on May 19 (9 PM PT on May 18).

Fire Emblem Echoes: Shadows of Valentia takes up 12,826 blocks of space, or 1.57 GB.

Here’s an interesting little note about the New 2DS XL. With the new system, Nintendo cut down on the length of the stylus that’s included. It may not be a massive deal or a drastic change, but one that you may care to know about in any case.

GameStop will soon be holding a new distribution for Pokemon Sun / Moon. Players will be able to obtain a level 50 Lycanroc in its Midnight Form with a code at participating stores.

With its No Guard Ability, hard-hitting moves such as Stone Edge and Fire Fang will never miss. Lycanroc also comes with a Life Orb.

GameStop’s distribution begins on May 15. It’ll last until June 5.

Within the past few days, it seemed as though Mario & Luigi: Superstar Saga + Bowser’s Minions had leaked for 3DS. Data for the game was found sitting on Nintendo’s eShop servers, and that was followed soon after with an apparent icon.

Adding to that, Kotaku has some additional evidence that Mario & Luigi: Superstar Saga + Bowser’s Minions is the real deal. When the game’s icon surfaced this past week, the person who shared it also posted the icon for Ever Oasis – another 3DS title. Kotaku played Ever Oasis this week at a preview event and verified that the icon is legitimate. Since it hadn’t appeared elsewhere, it would appear that the icon posted for Mario & Luigi: Superstar Saga + Bowser’s Minions can also be trusted.

At this point, I think it’s safe to say that Mario & Luigi: Superstar Saga + Bowser’s Minions will be announced soon. A similar situation occurred with Zelda: Twilight Princess HD.

Hey! Pikmin was one of a few 3DS games playable at a press event this past week. Read up on some details about the game below, courtesy of Eurogamer’s preview.

– Three levels playable at a demo event
– From the opening two sectors of the game
– These levels teach the fundamental controls and introduce game concepts
– Gather 30,000 Sparklium to fix Captain Olimar’s crashed spaceship
– Control pad or Y and A buttons move Captain Olimar left and right
– Use the stylus to blow the whistle to get Pikmins’ attention and to activate a jet pack
– Jet pack hovers Olimar a fixed, short distance above the ground where you can move him left or right for a short while
– Use the jet pack to climb ledges
– Throw Pikmin with jabs rather than swipes
– Throw distance determined by how far away from Olimar you tap the screen or what you’re aiming at
– Self-contained levels see you locating Pikmin in order to navigate a play area that consists of moving left to right and finding the occasional hidden cave entrance that houses additional Sparklium
– Recruit Pikmin from vegetative clumps by way of a whistle-blow
– Use the same whistle-blow in order to keep your Pikmin together and in check
– Fling Pikmin to move a block, pull a lever, squash obstacles
– Enemies must be specifically targeted
– No mid-level check-pointing
