Final Pokemon Sun & Moon demo event available today

The release of Pokemon Sun & Moon is getting ever closer, and we’ve reached another milestone today – the final event in the demo version is available today. Talk to the woman inside the building at the marina to see her off on her journey. As a reward, you will get a Comet Shard to send to the full game, which can be sold for quite a lot of money. Note that you can only start transferring items (and Greninja) once you actually have save data from the full version.

Awhile back, the Nintendo of Austraila twitter page hosted a Q&A for fans to ask producer Junichi Masuda and Shigeru Ohmori questions about the games. They have now answered many of the questions in a video, which you can watch below. They touch on inspiration for Alola forms, the setting, and the starters, as well as who their personal favorite new Pokemon are and noting that the series could journey to Australia some day, due to its diverse wildlife.

Monster Hunter XX “brave style” weapon trailers

Capcom has uploaded five separate trailers for weapons featured in Monster Hunter XX. While the videos aren’t in English, we can see that each features a different weapon from the game, while also showcasing the new “brave style” combat gauge that allows you to fuel special attacks from parrying blows. The weapon trailers are listed below in the order of: Bow and Arrow, Heavy Bowgun, Light Bowgun, Insect Glaive and Charge Axe. You can find the videos after the break.

Capcom introduces the Monster Hunter XX Limited Edition

Update (11/10): For those with a Japanese 3DS, you can now pre-order the Monster Hunter XX Limited Edition on Play-Asia.
Original (11/9): Capcom has confirmed the Monster Hunter XX Limited Edition, and has shown what will be included in the package. All copies feature a copy of the game, Outdoor Products Mini Shoulder Bag, Creators Selection Soundtrack with five songs, and Production Note (32 pages in A4 size). As an e-Capcom bonus, there wil be a Renkin Style Acrylic Dot Mascot. Nine designs are being prepared, and consumers will receive one at random. Finally, other exclusive bonuses include codes for two 3DS themes and save data bonus for Monster Hunter Stories.
The Monster Hunter XX Limited Edition comes out on March 18 just like the main game. Over on the e-Capcom store, it’s being sold for 12,744 yen.

Best Buy’s deals for Black Friday 2016 are in. Some of the big Nintendo-related highlights are above.
First, Fire Emblem Fates will be $25 at Best Buy. Bravely Second and Pokemon X/Y will be reduced, coming in at $20 each. We can also say that the $50 eShop card will be dropped to $42.50.

We now have a look at Walmart’s lineup of discounts for Black Friday 2016. Specifically talking about Nintendo, highlights include The Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess HD for $25 and Splatoon for $35.
Some of the other games are a bit more difficult to make out. Zelda: Ocarina of Time 3D, Pikmin 3, and NES Remix Pack appear to be $15 each.

UK software sales for October 2016

The latest issue of MCV has a listing of the best-selling games in the UK for the month of October. The results are posted below, based on data collected between October 2 and October 29.
As far as physical software sales by platform goes, here are the results:
