Level-5 shared a new round of details and screenshots pertaining to Yo-kai Watch 3 today. We have information about a new mode, Zombie Night, and more.

Here’s the rundown from today’s news blast:

My Nyan mode

Yo-kai Watch 3 will have a new My Nan mode, where the player will be able to create their own Jibanyan. Its appearance, color, voice and race can be freely edited. The special Jibanyan can be brought to battles, and its stats and skills can be strengthened.

One screenshot shows parts of its appearances that can be edited: head, head pattern, eyes, head accessory, body, tail, and necklace. Additionally, there is a selection of skills and special moves.

“Escape from the mysterious phenomenon Zombie Night”

Zombie Night is a night where the yo-kai aura balance became disrupted, and zombies appear in the city. To succeed in escaping it, the player will need to ring the Daybreak Bell without getting defeated by zombies. It is also possible to beat zombies by using the professor’s special hammer.

New character introduction: two FBY investigators Maruda and Kakuri who have a book named the Y File. It’s an obvious reference to the television series The X-Files.

Those who connect the Sushi and Tempura versions of Yo-kai Watch 3 will be provided with bonuses. Bonuses are also planned for those who connect with the toys.

Finally, some screenshots of today’s coverage:

Kirby: Planet Robobot will finally be released this week, alongside a brand new line of amiibo. Check out the game’s latest trailer, which showcases the game’s amiibo capabilities:

I like Pokémon Shuffle’s weekly updates! They’re comfy and easy to play! This week’s update is the same for both the 3DS and mobile versions and adds in a new challenge, letting players catch Kingdra. This battle will run until June 21st.

A few repeat runs have begun as well, featuring Landorus, Uxie, Beedrill, and the Daily Pokémon Challenge (#5). The last of those will change which Pokémon is available daily, starting with Maractus, then moving through Dunsparce, Qwilfish, Durant and Heatmor, before returning to Maractus. All of these challenges except Landorus will run until June 21st. Landorus will run until the 14th, but will also have a higher catch rate each day.

Is XSEED teasing the localization of Story of Seasons: Good Friends of Three Villages? It’s quite possible.

A little while ago, XSEED tweeted out the following:

That first (and possibly second) line has people speculating that Story of Seasons: Good Friends of Three Villages will soon be announced for North America. Given the success of the original Story of Seasons, it was only a matter of time before the new entry was confirmed for the west. I imagine we’ll hear something by the end of the week!

Frozen: Olaf’s Quest has started to pop up at retailers with a new Nintendo Selects version. The value line is generally associated with Nintendo-published releases, which is why this is noteworthy. It’s actually the first third-party game to be under the Nintendo Selects name in North America.
