Fire Emblem Engage Marth

Nintendo and Intelligent Systems are back with another character introduction for Fire Emblem Engage, this time highlighting Marth.

The game is bringing back heroes from past entries in the series, and Marth is among them. These characters can be summoned with Emblem Rings, and their power can be added to yours.

The original Bayonetta was on track for a standalone physical release on Switch today, but in Europe and the UK, there’s been a bit of a snag. Over on social media, Nintendo said it is “now aiming to release the physical edition of Bayonetta in the first half of October, exclusively on My Nintendo Store.”

As far as we know, everything has gone according to plan in North America. Right now you can pick up a copy at a retailer like Amazon.

Rooftop Renegade

Melonhead Games will release its upcoming project Rooftop Renegade on Switch, the studio has announced. A release is planned for Q3 2023.

A new update for Fire Emblem Heroes has just been announced, and it’s set to arrive next week.

The update is set to provide changes for a whole host of events and features, including the Hall of Forms and Binding Worlds, Summoner and Memento Events. The lineup of Limited-Time Combat Manuals will also be updated, players will be able to refine a new set of weapons, Aether Raids will receive some updates and more.

Now that the Anniversary Tour is wrapping up, DeNA have announced that the Battle Tour will be the next event featured in Mario Kart Tour. As indicated by the name, this will be the first Tour to feature Mario Kart Tour’s Battle Mode, a new gameplay mode reminiscent of its main series equivalent. The Tour will offer GBA Battle Course 1 and GCN Cookie Land as the game’s first battle stages, and will provide new driver and kart elements as per usual. A new Green Mii Racing Suit will also be offered.

Splatoon 3 icons Nintendo Switch Online

Original (9/8): Starting today, Nintendo Switch Online icons can claim new icons based on Splatoon 3. The first batch was just made available and comes just in time for the main game’s launch.

Nintendo is planning several waves of Splatoon 3 icons that will be cycled out on a weekly basis. Expect new batches until October 6. Fans can obtain icons for characters, backgrounds, and frames. Characters cost 10 My Nintendo Platinum Points each while everything else is 5 Platinum Points.
