Bandai Namco has just published a new gameplay trailer for Digimon Survive. The video explains what to expect from the title that blends visual novel storytelling with tactical battle elements.

Wide Care Switch

In Japan today, Nintendo kicked off a new subscription service for Switch known as Wide Care.

The service promises to fix problems with Switch systems up to six times a year or damages worth up to 100,000 yen. Issues such as fall damage, water damage, and “natural failures” will all be taken care of. Shipping is included as well.


Pokemon Sword Shield Shiny Marill

A new Max Raid Battle event is here for Pokemon Sword and Pokemon Shield with players having a chance to obtain Shiny Marill.

The event is putting the focus on Water-type Pokemon. By defeating them, you’ll be given items like Fresh Water, Soda Pop, and Lemonade. Poliwag, Marill, and Spheal will be appearing more often. Shiny Marill isn’t a guarantee to show up, so you’ll need a bit of luck on your side.

Nintendo Switch Online has just added four new SEGA Genesis games as part of its update for June 2022. Comix Zone, Mega Man: The Wily Wars, Target Earth, and Zero Wing are now available for Expansion Pack members.

Overrogue

Kemco is gearing up for its latest title on Switch having just announced that Overrogue will be arriving on Switch next week. Look for it on July 7, 2022.

Overrogue is slightly different than the standard Kemco release as it’s a card deck-building roguelite. More information can be found in the overview below.

Monster Sanctuary The Forgotten World Update trailer

Monster Sanctuary received its latest patch today known as The Forgotten World, and a new trailer has provided a closer look at the additions.

As a reminder, the update includes ten new monsters (five of which were designs from the community) for players to add to their team, two new outfits, 78 new skills, 13 new items, and three new game modes (Bravery Mode, Randomizer, and Permadeath) that can be combined freely, allowing players to customize their Monster Sanctuary experience for endless replayability. Fire Emblem Warriors 2

Fire Emblem Warriors 2 was an idea Nintendo and Koei Tecmo considered before settling on development of Fire Emblem Warriors: Three Hopes, it’s been revealed. 

That nugget of information comes from an interview published by Japanese magazine Nintendo Dream with development producer Hideo Suzuki, producer Yosuke Hayashi, and director Hayato Iwata. Hayashi said the team “wanted to make a sequel to Fire Emblem Warriors” and “called it Fire Emblem Warriors 2 as a placeholder name and discussed various directions we could take it in”.
