Original (8/9): Mediatonic has shared full details about its new Sonic the Hedgehog event for Fall Guys, which starts in just a couple of days.
A big highlight is the new “Bean Hill Zone” level. Here players need to collect as many rings as possible to win special rewards. Once they’ve obtained 200 points, they’ll receive a “Bean Hill Zone” nameplate. At 400 points, they’ll get 200 kudos. 600 points provides a Bonus Rings Pattern outfit, 800 points is for 400 kudos, and 1,000 points lets players use Sonic’s iconic sneakers.
Metal Slug Tactics delayed to 2023

Metal Slug Tactics has been delayed to 2023, according to publisher DotEmu and developer Leikir Studio.
The game was first confirmed for Switch last August. Originally, the goal was to have the game out sometime this year. Unfortunately, that is no longer in the cards.

Thymesia Cloud Version announced for Switch, out next week

Publisher Team17 and developer OverBorder Studio have revealed that Thymesia is coming to Switch, but as a Cloud Version. The game launches on August 18 – the same day as all other platforms.
Up until now, there was no word on Thymesia making it to Switch. While it isn’t the most ideal solution for many, it is at least an option for playing the game on Nintendo’s console.
Horizon Chase Turbo update out now (version 2.5), Adventures Mode added

A major 2.5 update has just been released for Horizon Chase Turbo.
After installing the patch, players can access a new Adventures Mode. It includes new circuits, 34 new skins, and at least of 8 hours of content.

Kirby’s Dream Buffet releasing August 17

Original: At the end of the Kirby 30th Anniversary Music Fest Live, it was announced that Kirby’s Dream Buffet will release next week on August 17 in Japan via the eShop. There is no word yet on whether this launch date will apply to other regions, which currently still have a Summer 2022 release window. In Japan, the game will cost 1500 yen.

Undertale creator Toby Fox has composed music tracks for Pokemon Scarlet / Violet

Original (6/1): Toby Fox, the creator of Undertale, has confirmed that he composed a few music tracks for Pokemon Scarlet and Pokemon Violet.
According to Fox, he was heavily involved with the field music. Once he made a concept sketch, “Game Freak arranged it into many versions that you’ll hear throughout the game.” Fans can actually get a small taste of Fox’s work as it was featured in the new trailer for Pokemon Scarlet and Pokemon Violet, available here.
