YIIK A Post-Modern RPG I.V update

It’s been a couple of years since YIIK: A Post-Modern RPG released on Switch, but Ysbryd Games and Ackk Studios have now announced a major update for the game known as simply I.V.

As noted in today’s announcement, “I.V reimagines the mind-bending Japanese-style role-playing game with transformative improvements.” Players can expect “more engaging combat, reworked story events, new characters, redesigned cutscenes, new music, and much more, all interwoven with the existing game.”

Dying Light 2 Stay Human co-op

A short while ago, Techland released a new trailer for Dying Light 2: Stay Human known as “The Reason” and it’s also worth noting that the company confirmed that the final product will support four-player co-op.

Astroneer trailer

System Era Softworks is celebrating the arrival of Astroneer on Switch with a new trailer. The game just released this Thursday.

Out of seemingly nowhere, publisher Wizard Games has released a new free-to-play twin-stick shooter known as Turbo Shot on the Switch eShop.  This seems to be the Canadian publisher’s first dive into the console market.  As for the game itself, it’s packing not only a full-on single player campaign, but an ever-evolving 12-player PvP mode, complete with weekly content and planned seasons of new content.

Seven Pirates H

Original (1/10): Seven Pirates H is getting an English release on Switch in the west, Eastasiasoft announced today in partnership with Idea Factory, Compile Heart, and Felistella. A release is scheduled for Spring 2022.

The game was previously announced for Nintendo’s console last week as Genkai Tokki: Seven Pirates H, though only in Japan. It had previously released on PS Vita. However, this marks the first time the game will receive an official localization.

Rune Factory 5 Digital Deluxe Edition

A new trailer for Rune Factory 5 has just come in ahead of the game’s western debut in March and we have news about the Digital Deluxe Edition. Additionally, it’s been announced that pre-orders for all digital and physical versions have gone live.

Atlus debuted a new “Fight” trailer for Persona 4 Arena Ultimax, which is just a couple of months away from landing on Switch. The port was initially announced at The Game Awards last month.
