The Red Lantern physical

The Red Lantern, which previously came to Switch through the eShop, is now getting a physical release on Switch. Limited Run Games is in charge of distribution.

Only a standard edition is in the works – a collector’s edition is not planned. Fans will be able to place a pre-order for the physical version of The Red Lantern later this week.

Vampire: The Masquerade - Swansong delayed

Vampire: The Masquerade – Swansong has been delayed and will no longer release in February 2022 as originally planned. Rather than launching in February, the title is now set for May 19, 2022.

In a statement, publisher Nacon and developer Big Bad Wolf explained that the move was made “to ensure the highest possibly quality while retaining a healthy work-life balance for our team.” The extra time “will allow us to apply some additional polish and give us some extra time for QA.”

Dead Cells Everyone is Here

Original (11/22): A special patch is coming to Dead Cells, with Motion Twin and Evil Empire revealing the “Everyone is Here” update.

As shown in the image above, Dead Cells is crossing over with some well-known Switch games. The lineup includes Blasphemous, Curse of the Dead Gods, Guacamelee, Hollow Knight, Hyper Light Drifter, and Skul: The Hero Slayer.

Eastward update 1.1.0c

A significant 1.1.0c update has come to the Switch version of Eastward. It comes with new features like fast travel and bookmark chapter selection, a ton of bug fixes, and quality of life adjustments.

Ghost Sync gameplay

With Ghost Sync set to debut on Switch later this week, we have some early gameplay of the RPG. A half hour of footage is available.

Ryan's Rescue Squad

Publisher Outright Games and developer pocket.watch today announced Ryan’s Rescue Squad, a side-scrolling platform adventure. It’s heading to Switch on March 4, 2022.

The upcoming project is based on ‘Ryan’s World’ whose YouTube channels receive over 1 billion views per month from over 48 million subscribers. You may recall that this isn’t Outright Games’ first title associated with the property as the company previously released Race with Ryan (and a Road Trip Deluxe Edition) that can be purchased on Switch.

Aspire Ina's Tale release date

Publisher Untold Tales and developer Wondernaut Studio have nailed down a final release date for Aspire: Ina’s Tale, an “evocative yet delicately twisted tale of one heroine escaping from a living tower that feeds on her dreams”. The game will be making its way to Switch on Friday, December 17.

Aspire: Ina’s Tale was first confirmed for Switch back in September. It was confirmed for a December launch at the time, though we didn’t have a specific date.
