Jump Force - Yoruichi Shihouin

Yoruichi Shihouin will be one of the next DLC characters for Jump Force, and Bandai Namco today revealed a teaser trailer that offers a first look at the Bleach representative in action. Check out the video below.

Jump Force Deluxe Edition is available for Switch. Yoruichi Shihouin arrives in 2021.

Monster Hunter Rise

Capcom is back with the latest trailers for Monster Hunter Rise focusing on the game’s weapons. For today’s update, we’re introduced to the Great Sword and Switch Axe.

Here’s information about both:

DSi single screen

During the DS and 3DS eras, you may have heard of something called Nintendo Zone. It was more widely used during the DS days, but the main idea was that you could connect to the service at certain places like Best Buy and access content such as demos and trailers, services, and more. Nintendo originally sent DS cartridges to these locations which would hold all of the Nintendo Zone data. Later on, there was a more efficient process once the DSi was created.

Nintendo eventually stripped back the original DSi hardware, leaving a single touch screen, two LEDs, and a charging port. Locations that had these systems were also given a new cartridge that could connect to a server for all of the latest content. That way Nintendo wouldn’t need to continually send out new DS cards.

Megaton Musashi

Tying in with Jump Festa 2020 Online, Level-5 has prepared a new trailer for 3D mecha action game Megaton Musashi. Additionally, gameplay videos have been released showing battle and customization gameplay. We have the full set of videos below.

Bit.Trip

The original Bit.Trip series is less than a week away from landing on Switch. QubicGames has shared a trailer for the upcoming releases, which you can find below.

All of the Bit.Trip titles will be going live on the Switch eShop starting December 25.

COGEN: Sword of Rewind

COGEN: Sword of Rewind, a side-scrolling action-platformer, was announced for Switch earlier this year. The original plan was to have it ready by the end of 2020.

That’ll no longer be happening, as Gemdrops confirmed a delay today. The company indicated that it hopes to meet the “high expectations” from fans with some additional polish. It will now release in 2021.

Rhythm Fighter

Coconut Island Games and Echo Games today announced that Rhythm Fighter, a roguelike action beat ’em up, is in the works for Switch. It’s slated for release next month.

Bustafellows

Extend’s crime suspense visual novel Bustafellows released in Japan this time last year. Some fans have been hoping for a western release, which now looks to be in the cards. It’s been announced that an English version is happening, though no further details have been provided.

A sequel was also revealed today titled Bustafellows Season 2. Development has only just begun, so there’s not much in the way of details at present. However, fans can expect a new story.

We’ll have more information about the English localization of Bustafellows and Bustafellows Season 2 in the future.
