Gnosia

System: Switch
Release date: March 4, 2021
Developer: Petit Depot
Publisher: Playism

There’s an intriguing aspect to deducing fallacies, misconceptions, and lies that constantly keep us thinking deeper and trying to uncover any sort of truth in places where it’s difficult to do so. Crime thrillers and detective work have consistently been a genre and style of narrative that we gravitate towards as we feel as if we’re playing a part in what’s happening. Gnosia, which is being localized for the first time on Switch, offers that exact kind of experience. It brings with it a unique and fascinating dive alongside a new perspective into the visual novel genre by implementing elements not normally seen to keep it further engaging. Gnosia’s sci-fi visual novel mystery amalgam is excellent in every sense of the word, and its brilliance shines the further into it you get with each of its gameplay sessions.

Super Mario 3D All-Stars

A lot is happening in the world of Nintendo after March 31. Three Switch releases are going away – two for Super Mario and one for Fire Emblem.

As for what you can currently purchase, Super Mario 3D All-Stars and Fire Emblem: Shadow Dragon & the Blade of Light are up for grabs. Once April 1 rolls in though, that’ll be it. Both releases will be removed from the eShop, and you shouldn’t expect additional stock to be shipped to retailers. However, anything previously purchased – be it physical or digital – will still work. Digital codes not redeemed by March 31 will still function as well.

Also after March 31 is the end of Super Mario Bros. 35. The game will no longer be accessible after that date. Since it’s a part of Nintendo Switch Online, it will cease to function come April 1.

Originally released on PC last year, the DLC was a tie-in for the holidays. It’s a brand new level that can be played entirely for free.

Designer Sebastian Krośkiewicz said porting the DLC “took a bit longer than expected, but here it is.”
