ENDER LILIES: Quietus of the Knights

When we reported on ENDER LILIES: Quietus of the Knights a few months ago, there was some confusion as to whether a Switch version had actually been confirmed. Binary Haze Interactive, Live Wire, Adglobe Tokyo, and Adglobe Montreal Studio made the news official today. Additionally, we have a new release window of Q2 2021 for the Switch version.

Skul: The Hero Slayer

Skul: The Hero Slayer, the action-platformer from Neowiz and SouthPAW Games, now has a release window. It’s been confirmed that the title will land on Nintendo’s console sometime in early 2021.

Switch PlayStation Xbox

Xbox published an announcement today in which the company says it is aligned with Nintendo and PlayStation in ensuring the safety of players, particularly when it comes to online gaming. “We can accomplish more when we work toward the same goal, and so we will each continue investing in, evolving, and amplifying our approaches to user safety,” the notice states.

The announcement mentions three key principles: prevention, partnership, and responsibility. That means empowering players/parents to understand and control gaming experiences, partnering with the industry, regulators, law enforcement, and communities to advance user safety, and making platforms as safe as possible for all players.

Hitman 3

IO Interactive has released the opening cinematic for the stealth game Hitman 3. Take a look at the video below.

Hitman 3 – Cloud Version is currently in development for Switch.

Indie World Showcase

A new Indie World Showcase will air tomorrow, December 15, Nintendo has announced. The presentation will be about 15 minutes long and will feature new announcements on indie titles.

Freddy Spaghetti

Ratalakia Games and Playful Pasta have announced that they’re putting Freddy Spaghetti on Switch this week. The physics-based game, which has players manipulating pasta, through challenges and obstacles, will be out on December 18.

Action-platformer/memory game Killer Chambers launches on Switch next week. Check out some gameplay with the footage below.

Killer Chambers is scheduled to launch on the Switch eShop on December 21.

Zarude

Today, after issues with distributing Zarude through UK retailer GAME, the Pokemon Company has announced that Zarude will be offered via code to players in the UK and parts of Europe, including France, Germany, Italy, and Spain, if they sign up for the Pokemon Trainer Club newsletter by December 18. You can sign up here.

Codes are scheduled to be distributed sometime in January.

Final Fantasy Crystal Chronicles Remastered Edition

Square Enix has announced that its update including a lot of fixes for Final Fantasy Crystal Chronicles Remastered Edition is coming on December 17. This update will be version 1.0.3 on the Switch and 1.0.2 on the Switch Lite.

The update will include server maintence, as well as various bug fixes and improvements (specifically to multiplayer). This update is scheduled to go live any time from 11:00 – 18:00 on December 17, 2020 in Japan (which would be 6:00pm – 1:00am PT) and more details about it can be found in our previous coverage here.

A new update has released for Fire Emblem Heroes (version 5.0.2), and its contents are the usual fare. The update appears to have fixed some issues that were reported but no specific issues are listed.
