Animal Crossing: New Horizons

This month’s issue of CoroCoro Comics has revealed that Animal Crossing: New Horizons will be receiving a new manga series. The first part will be published in the magazine’s next edition in June.

Kokonasu Runpa will be drawing the serialization. Runpa also drew a one-shot manga for the Animal Crossing: New Horizons manga, which can be found in the current issue of CoroCoro Comics.

A localization of the manga series has yet to be confirmed.

Gametech is introducing a new cooling fan accessory for Switch that lowers the temperature by roughly 13 degrees Celsius (55 degrees Fahrenheit). It’s apparently silent enough that it won’t be much of a distraction while playing. By connecting the device through USB, the fan will pump out cool air.

The Gamers Mobile Cooler actually releases tomorrow in Japan. You can import the accessory from Play-Asia here.

Civilization VI

2K Games revealed a New Frontier Pass for Civilization VI this week that will introduce a ton of new content over the next year. A new video published today offers up a first look at the Maya civilization and its leader, Lady Six Sky. The Maya & Gran Colombia Pack kicks off the New Frontier Pass on May 21.

Nearly a year after it was announced, The Elder Scrolls: Blades is out on Switch today. We’ve included a new launch trailer from Bethesda below.

The Elder Scrolls: Blades is free-to-play on Switch as an eShop download. A Quick Start Edition is also being distributed for $14.99.

Prison Architect: Island Bound

Paradox Interactive and Double Eleven today revealed the next expansion for the prison management simulator Prison Architect. Island Bound will launch for Switch on June 11, the two sides confirmed.

Ion Fury

Ion Fury, the old-school first-person shooter, arrives on Switch starting today. Take a look at the game’s official launch trailer below.

Nintendo has ported many of its Wii U games over to Switch, but there are still a few titles remaining. Pikmin 3 is one release that we could be getting sooner rather than later.

Venturebeat reports that, aside from Intelligent Systems which just unveiled Paper Mario: The Origami King today, “other Nintendo studios will have games ready for release soon”. The site specifically cites the rumored 3D Mario remasters plus something we haven’t heard of previously: Pikmin 3 Deluxe.
