Nintendo reveals the top 20 most-tapped characters in Fire Emblem Heroes

Fire Emblem Heroes is soon celebrating its first anniversary. In honor of the occasion, Nintendo and Intelligent Systems have started sharing some interesting stats about the game.
The first information we have pertains to the most tapped characters. It seems the app does in fact track how many times you tap on the different heroes on the main menu.

Psyonix outlines upcoming plans for Rocket League – Switch graphical modes this spring

Psyonix posted a comprehensive update today outlining the various features and updates in store for Rocket League. One point applies specifically to Switch.
This spring, Rocket League will be updated on Switch to support two graphical modes. The first is Performance Mode, which is 900p when docked and 720p in handheld mode at 60 frames per second with infrequent dynamic resolution scaling. If that doesn’t interest you, Quality Mode will offer native 1080p docked and 720p portable resolution at 30 frames per second with added visual effects.
The full roadmap for Rocket League’s pipeline all the way up through April and beyond can be found below.

Screenshots are in for the trading card game Hototogisu Tairan 1553: Ryuuko Aiutsu, which was just announced for Switch via this week’s issue of Famitsu. View them below.
We also have a few more tidbits:
– Collect cards drawn by various popular illustrators, assemble a deck, and use that deck to battle
– Two phases
– Tactical Phase: use any card from your hand, such as a strategy or promotion card, and manifest its effect onto the field
– Battle Phase: the units deployed onto the field will move and attack
– The order of movement is based on how high a unit’s stats are for both enemies and allies
– Players can enjoy strategies such as making the first move with fast units, or surrounding the enemy for a formation effect

ARMS maintenance taking place tonight

ARMS is getting a new update tonight. To prepare for it, the game will be undergoing some maintenance for about a couple of hours.
Maintenance will be taking place at the following times:
– 4:50 PM PT (January 31) – 6:30 PM PT (January 31)
– 7:50 PM ET (January 31) – 9:30 PM ET (January 31)
– 12:50 AM in the UK (February 1) – 2:30 AM in the UK (February 1)
– 1:50 AM in Europe (February 1) – 3:30 AM in Europe (February 1)

Mercenaries Saga Chronicles launches February 8 in the west

Circle Entertainment has announced that Mercenaries Saga Chronicles is releasing on February 8 in the west. It’s launching in North America, Europe, Australia, and New Zealand.
You’ll be able to pre-load Mercenaries Saga Chronicles from the eShop starting on February 1 with a 10% discount. The pre-order price will be $13.49 / €13.49 / £12.23. Normally, the game costs $14.99 / €14.99 / £13.59.

Breath of the Wild now the second highest-selling Zelda game

Nintendo confirmed earlier today that The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild has shipped 6.7 million copies on Switch worldwide. Adding in sales of the Wii U version of about 1.08 million, the overall total should be roughly 7.78 million units worldwide.
The big takeaway from that number is Breath of the Wild is now the second highest-selling Zelda game. Only Twilight Princess has it beat globally with 8.85 million copies sold. Breath of the Wild could very well overtake it in time.
