The Fall Part 2: Unbound launching February 13 on Switch

The Fall Part 2: Unbound will launch for Switch on February 13, according to a listing on the European eShop. That date has not been officially confirmed, but eShop pages have provided accurate information as of late.
The first entry in The Fall series made it to Wii U in 2014. This new game was originally planned for 2017, but was delayed back in October. A new release window of February 2018 had also been provided at the time.

Switch, Wii U, and 3DS maintenance scheduled for this week

Update 3 (1/16): Added more Switch maintenance to the schedule.
Update (1/15): More maintenance added for this week, including a couple of additional Switch sessions, one for Splatoon 2, and another for Switch Parental Controls.
Original (1/12): Nintendo has more maintenance lined up for all of its platforms next week. Switch will be impacted for two sessions, and Wii U / 3DS for one.

Scribblenauts Showdown finally unveiled

Following several leaks, Warner Bros. has properly announced Scribblenauts Showdown, which is slated for Switch. It’s scheduled for March 6 in North America and March 9 in Europe.
The game’s highlights are the Showdown, Versus, and Sandbox modes. Here’s the rundown of each:

Forever Entertainment has dated its pixel-art puzzle game for Switch. On January 18, it will be published on the eShop.
Qbik features a world filled with brainteasers, puzzles, and riddles across 63 levels. We have a trailer for the game below.

GalaxyTrail “exploring all options” to bring Freedom Planet 1 and 2 to Switch

Over the weekend, GalaxyTrail posted an image on Facebook hinting at a release of Freedom Planet on Switch. Some took that as confirmation that the game would be heading to Nintendo’s console at some point, but we’re not quite there… yet.
GalaxyTrail has now clarified that the image was a way of showing that the studio is aware of the huge amount of interest in Freedom Planet on Switch. The team is “currently exploring all of our options to offer you the game and the sequel on the Switch” – so there’s nothing official, yet.
