Nintendo’s latest maintenance schedule for the week of June 1, 2025 is now available.

As of now there’s just one session planned. Nintendo Switch Online cloud saves will be impacted, but not for very long.

Tatsuya Kando, the director behind The World Ends with You, shared the news on social media that he’s left Square Enix.

Kando spent nearly three decades at the company. He was involved with all entries in The World Ends with You series, including NEO: The World Ends with You. Kando did work on a bunch of additional projects as well including Kingdom Hearts as an animation supervisor.

Nice Day for Fishing trailer

Team17 and FusionPlay prepared a new launch trailer for Nice Day for Fishing, their new RPG fishing adventure. The official release took place on various platforms this week, including Nintendo Switch.

Cattle Country trailer

Following the launch of Cattle Country, Playtonic and Castle Pixel have uploaded a launch trailer. The cozy cowboy adventure life sim debuted this week.

This week, Ironhide Game Studio announced the upcoming release of Kingdom Rush Vengeance on Nintendo Switch. The titles launches on June 12, 2025.

Kingdom Rush Vengeance is a tower defense game similar to previous entries in the series, and this time around, players will need to deal with the return of Vez’nan, the powerful almighty wizard. Upon release, the Hammerhold Campaign and Pirate Kings Campaign will be offered as paid DLC.

Nintendo Switch 2 Upgrade Packs

Various store pages went live today confirming pricing for all Nintendo Switch 2 Upgrade Packs that will be available at the system’s launch.

Pricing seems to sit at either $10 or $20. Currently Nintendo has two of these on the higher end – those being Super Mario Party Jamboree and Kirby and the Forgotten Land.

WWE 2K25 datamine Nintendo Switch 2 music

If a new datamine is anything to go by, WWE 2K25 could support custom music on Nintendo Switch 2.

WWE 2K25 originally launched in March. Sangral, who is involved with the modding scene, recently dug through the code following the release of the latest PC patch and found an interesting line. Though the game isn’t available on Nintendo’s new console just yet, the following was discovered: “If you have music stored on your Nintendo Switch 2 console, you can use these tracks for the entry soundtrack”.

Mooncat Games and Bromio have gone live with a launch trailer for Remnants of the Rift which celebrates the 1.0 launch and Nintendo Switch debut. As a reminder, this is a new psychedelic roguelite tactics game.
