Minecraft on Switch will have you logging in with Xbox Live when cross-play update drops

This information comes from a PressFire interview with Mojang CEO Jonas Märtensson…
We’re tying everything together with Xbox Live. So you log in with Xbox Live …
Even on Switch?
Yes. (Laughs) That’s pretty unique as well! But everyone that’s in on this, all the platform holders, have been pretty pragmatic and understanding of that what we’re trying to do is create a good experience for the players. We needed a good system to connect everyone, and Xbox Live is a good system.

LEGO Worlds will arrive on Switch this fall, Warner Bros. announced today. When purchasing the physical release, players will receive access to two bonus packs of premium DLC including Classic Space. The digital version contains the base game with DLC sold separately.
Here’s an overview of the Classic Space DLC:
“The Classic Space Pack will include brand new quests, characters, builds, and vehicles from the wildly popular LEGO Space playsets. Players can blast off and explore the farthest reaches of space and embark on new adventures with friends as they travel across Worlds in a Space Buggy, fly through the atmosphere in the Space Cruiser, excavate the new Moon biome in the Mineral Detector, or land the one man spaceship on the new Classic Space Theme World!”

Platforms undecided for Beyond Good & Evil 2

Update: Bumped to the top. Perhaps there’s some hope for Beyond Good & Evil 2 on Switch after all, even if it’s small. Creator Michel Ancel said on his Instagram page that platforms aren’t announced. Make of that what you will. Again though, unless we hear about a Switch version, we won’t be posting about the game again.
Michel Ancel says that Beyond Good and Evil 2 is not Switch exclusive as was previously rumoured.

Original: Ubisoft re-revealed Beyond Good & Evil 2 during its media briefing this week. Platforms weren’t announced at the time, but despite a few rumors of it being on Switch, a release on Nintendo’s console is unfortunately looking unlikely.
Ubisoft is letting fans register their interest in a Space Monkey Program as a way of contributing to Beyond Good & Evil 2’s development. Right now, the only platforms listed are PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC – Switch is nowhere to be seen. Retailers have also started to take pre-orders and Switch is sadly absent.
It definitely would have been nice had Beyond Good & Evil 2 ended up on Switch, especially given how the first one was on GameCube. But unless we hear otherwise, this will probably be the final time we post about the game here.
