With a new Pokemon game comes new merchandise, and Takara Tomy will be producing new figures for the two games later this year. Pokeshopper has the scoop on what’s to come.

Apparently, new secrets will be revealed this November, which is a month after the first Silvally figurine releases. A listing notes that a new form will exist in November, though it’s unclear if it pertains to a new Ultra Beast, or references Lycanroc, Togedemaru or Mimikyu.

Here’s the current lineup of figurines:

– Silvally M Figure – 1,200 yen October release
– Necrozma L Figure – 1,500 yen November release
– Three secrets (Reference form change)
– December – Nihilego, Tapu Bulu

Switch is a hit thus far, and the system is selling extremely well. Sadly, that success and the lack of stock is leading to some unfortunate situations in Japan. One issue concerns fraud, which is even being reported by major TV outlets.

SEGA gave fans a first look at Special Stages in Sonic Mania during a panel at Comic-Con today. They’re inspired by titles on the Saturn and CD. You’ll collect rings for more time and Blue Spheres for more speed while chasing down a UFO for a Chaos Emerald.

YouTuber FILIP played Pokken Tournament DX at Comic-Con this week, and shared new direct-feed footage of the game on Switch. Check out some footage below.

We won’t have to wait long for the second Legendary Pokemon in Pokemon GO. While we knew that Articuno would be going out soon, Niantic has confirmed that it will be showing up alongside Lugia immediately. That’s because Team Mystic beat out Team Instinct and Team Valor in catching Pokemon at Pokemon GO Fest earlier today.

As for Zapdos and Moltres, Niantic hasn’t forgotten about them. Both “will also make their way into the real world soon, so stay tuned for more information.”

Lastly, the following rewards will last until Monday at 5 PM PT / 8 PM ET.

Double Stardust
Double Candy
Double XP
Increased Pokémon encounters
Reduced hatching distance
Reduced buddy distance

The first Pokemon GO Fest has concluded. To say that the event had a few hiccups would probably be an understatement. Most prominently, attendees experienced technical issues for many hours, making it so they were unable to play the game.

Niantic has since issued a statement about the situation. The company apologized to all Trainers who came out for Pokemon GO Fest, and admitted that they “were not able to offer every attendee a great experience” despite eventually fixing “many of the technical issues”. Niantic also recapped how the company is attempting to provide some sort of compensation.

The full statement is as follows:

The Sexy Brutale may have a chance of coming to Switch. On July 14, PEGI rated the game for the console.

Classifications don’t always confirm releases, but usually they’re intended to be used in some way. It would be rather strange for The Sexy Brutale to be rated on Switch if Tequila Works doesn’t intend to bring it to the platform, though perhaps it’s a possibility the studio is exploring for the future.

We reached out to Tequila Works earlier this week and asked about the classification, but have thus far not heard back. We’ll let you know if we receive an official comment from the company.

Pokemon GO Fest had all sorts of problems today. In the end though, Niantic is delivering on what many had been interested in from the event: Legendary Pokemon.

All Pokemon GO players who showed up in Chicago for today’s events will be able to receive Lugia in their accounts today. Other players around the world will begin to see Lugia show up in Raid Battles within the next 48 hours.

Niantic also said that Articuno will be the next Pokemon distributed following Lugia.
