Coup de Grece has been working on a new action-platformer for Wii U called “Primary Shift”. This has players shifting the background’s color in order to control the platforms, enemies and obstacles that appear on screen.

The action takes place in a school that has school supplies as platforms and number as enemies. You’ll need to help Timo graduate by getting good grades in over 40 levels. The best time will be recorded at the end of the course.

Here’s a rundown of features:

· Platforming action
· Color shifting mechanic
· 4 different types of level objective
· 40 challenging levels (okay, first few are easy)
· Replay value: beat your best times in time trials

And a trailer:

Look for Primary Shift on the eShop soon.

Dragon Quest Monsters: Joker 3 was the top seller in Japan this past week. Between March 24 and March 27, the game sold 368,665 copies. As usual, Media Create has now followed up with some additional information.

Based on Media Create’s data, Dragon Quest Monsters: Joker 3 sold through 59.16 percent of its initial shipment. The previous game in the series, Dragon Quest Monsters 2’s 3DS remake, sold 444,000 units with a 78.65 percent sell-through. Media Create points out that Joker 3 lacked in both numbers and sellthrough rate, making it look like a sluggish turnout in comparison.
