Oddworld: New ‘n’ Tasty was dated for two new platforms today, but neither of those are Wii U. On the bright side, the eShop version is still in development.

Just Add Water wrote on its website today:

“Work continues on the Wii U and PlayStation Vita versions of Oddworld: New ‘n’ Tasty. Converting our bespoke code, physics, highly detailed art assets and complex audio engines for the two formats from the PlayStation 4 and PC base continues to present engineering challenges relating to performance and memory, but recent progress is encouraging as we strive to make every iteration of New ‘n’ Tasty the perfect fit for the platform.”

Any 3DS owner in Europe can now freely download the Pokemon Omega Ruby/Alpha Sapphire “Special Demo”. In the past, it could only be obtained through special means.

Nintendo of Europe wrote on Twitter today:

Sonic Boom: Rise of Lyric has received a new update. It’s a sizable download, as it clocks in at roughly 1030MB. We’re not sure what the patch does at present, but we do know that Rise of Lyric has been bumped up to version 1.1.0.

On another note, it looks like this update may only be available in Europe at present. It should be out in North America soon if it hasn’t already arrived by the time you’re reading this.
