Deadcraft physical

H2 Interactive is preparing a physical version of Deadcraft for Switch, it’s been revealed. This will be distributed in Asia in collaboration with Marvelous.

The zombie survival game made its original appearance on Switch back in May. Thus far though, it has only been distributed digitally on the eShop. Thankfully, that’s now changing, and the physical version in Asia will offer full English support.

A new update has been released for Made in Abyss: Binary Star Falling into Darkness, bringing the game up to version 1.0.3. As well as the usual bug fixes, this update is of particular significance as it removes the requirement that you clear the game’s story mode, Hello Abyss, to access Deep in Abyss, meaning that players will be able to access both modes of the game from the beginning. Splatoon 3 update 2.1.0

Nintendo has announced that a new version 2.1.0 update for Splatoon 3 is arriving this week. It will be available tomorrow, January 17, in North America. This will be late in the day, so it’ll be January 18 in Europe and Japan.

Nintendo is focusing on battle adjustments here, including main weapons, special weapons, and more. Plenty of bug fixes are also included.

Also announced is that the next update for the game will focus on new features and weapon balance. The update, which is planned for the end of the current season, will be released for the start of the new season in March.

Onion Assault gameplay

Nefasto's Misadventure: Meeting Noeroze physical

Nefasto’s Misadventure: Meeting Noeroze was recently announced for Switch, and it’s now been confirmed that there’ll be a physical release. Pix’n Love is in charge of distribution.

Two different editions are planned that are inspired by computer game boxes: one representing the United States and another for Japan. There’ll be 500 copies made of each containing a strategy guide, the soundtrack in CD format, and a poster hand-signed by the Aurora Game Studio team.

Fire Emblem Engage ROM leak

Fire Emblem Engage won’t be around until later this week, but there’s been a leak for the game’s ROM and it’s circulating online (which we won’t be sharing here). Unfortunately, this appears to be fairly typical for Nintendo. Most of the company’s major Switch titles tend to leak at or before launch.

While that isn’t exactly the best news, there is some interesting information that did emerge from the Fire Emblem Engage ROM leak. It turns out that the game is built with the Unity engine, which is something that most probably wouldn’t have guessed. To compare, Fire Emblem: Three Houses was developed with the Dynasty Warriors engine.
