Fire Emblem Heroes — 6th Tap Battle “Summer of Heroes” now live

For the next month, the 6th Tap Battle: Illusory Dungeon event for Fire Emblem Heroes (“Summer of Heroes”) will be available. There will be sets of Daily Special Quests with unique rewards, and two types of Tap Battle quests to take on starting July 14th. Additionally, stages will be added regularly as the event goes on.

The second half of the Bloomin’ Booty with Kapp’n event is now live, with new plants, rare creatures, tasks, and furniture. Be warned, as the exclusive content will only be available until July 16th, when the event ends.

Pokemon Duel is set to receive a minor balance patch tomorrow. A couple of figures and their abilities are being changed a bit:
Shaymin Sky Forme:
- Dodge wheel size increased
- Seed Flare, Quick Attack and Dazzling Gleam wheel size decreased
Lurantis
- Green Power ability’s effect increased from +2 to +5 for each Grass-type Pokemon on the field

As we announced previously, the next Summoning Focus for Fire Emblem Heroes, A Sketchy Summer, will be live for the next month. Summer themed Heroes, new story maps, and more will be available as part of this event.
Nintendo on deciding how to charge for mobile games

Nintendo has experimented with a couple of monetization models for its mobile games thus far. With Super Mario Run, you only need to pay once to unlock everything. Fire Emblem Heroes goes for a free-to-play approach instead.
Former Nintendo president Tatsumi Kimishima discussed how Nintendo goes about choosing the way in which it charges for mobile titles during its 78th Annual General Meeting of Shareholders. He also reiterated the goal of spreading awareness of the company’s IPs and bringing consumers back to Nintendo hardware.

Nintendo and Intelligent Systems have revealed “A Sketchy Summer” as the latest event for Fire Emblem Heroes. Linde, Tiki, Takumi, and Camilla will be featured.
Along with the latest Special Heroes, there will be a new Paralogue Story as is usually the case.

Fire Emblem Heroes has received its latest update. On both iOS and Android, version 2.7.0 is available. Note that maintenance is currently taking place, so you won’t be able to open the app itself.
