Nintendo has updated the release schedule on its platforms for the week of May 17. Here’s a look at the upcoming digital download schedule:

Nintendo eShop

Nintendo has started populating its maintenance schedule for next week. Along with Switch eShop maintenance affecting credit cards, purchasing on the web store (Nintendo.com) will be impacted as well.

The current schedule is as follows:

– 6 PM PT (May 14) – 9 PM PT (May 14)
– 9 PM ET (May 14) – 12 AM ET (May 15)
– 2 AM in the UK (May 15) – 5 AM in the UK (May 15)
– 3 AM in Europe (May 15) – 6 AM in Europe (May 15)

Of Carrots And Blood

Trite Games has said that Of Carrots And Blood will be coming to Switch. When asked about the possibility of a port on Twitter, the studio confirmed that it’s happening.

Trite describes Of Carrots And Blood as “a twin-stick survival arena shooter about kissing bunnies, hungry mutants and a lot of blood.” Continue on below for further details and a trailer.

Baobabs Mausoleum

Baobabs Mausoleum was just confirmed for Switch last month. It’s not too far off, as Celery Emblem has announced a release date of May 24. The official eShop page with pre-loading will go live this Thursday.

Last Encounter

Last Encounter is out on Steam today, with console versions – including Switch – to follow in Q3 2018. You can view a new trailer below.

GoNNER

Raw Fury has started distributing a new patch for GoNNER. If you’ve purchased the game previously, you can download version 1.0.2.

GoNNER has new Daily Challenge and All-Time leaderboards. Additionally, some bug fixes have been implemented.

World Conqueror X

Circle Entertainment and EasyTech have announced a free Cold War expansion for World Conqueror X.

On May 10, an update will be going live with the new content. Players will be able to experience the Cold War campaign in Scenario Mode, featuring six missions on each side (NATO and WTO) for a total of twelve new levels. It will also be possible to start “Conquest Mode” from 1950, adding an alternative experience when seeking military and economic dominance.

Part of the paid Nintendo Switch Online service is a selection of NES games with added online functionality. 20 of those will be available at launch, with more to be added later. Being able to play classic games (albeit not online) has previously been done on Nintendo systems with the Virtual Console service, with the difference that games had to be purchased individually. For a while now, it has seemed increasingly likely that a Virtual Console like on Wii, Wii U and Nintendo 3DS would not be coming to the Nintendo Switch – and this has now been confirmed.

Kotaku inquired about a possible Virtual Console on Switch, and received the following answer from a Nintendo spokesperson via e-mail:
