We recently had the opportunity to sit down and talk with Jonas Kaerlev from Gears for Breakfast, the studio behind A Hat in Time. We had a terrific discussion about where it all started, the Switch port, the studio’s next game, and more. Jack N' Jill DX

The recently-announced platformer Jack N’ Jill DX has received a release date. It’s due out on September 28 via the eShop, Ratalakia announced today.

Nintendo’s website shows that Demon’s Crystals is making its way to Switch next week. BadLand Games will be publishing the twin stick shooter, which was originally developed by Byte4Games.

A new update is live for Light Fall on Switch. Developer Bishop Games has added a new last boss, new speedrun season, and improvements.

To celebrate the patch’s release, Light Fall is currently on sale. Switch owners can purchase the title for 35% off.

During a live stream at the Tokyo Game Show, Hamster announced a few new NeoGeo games for Switch. That wasn’t all though, as we’ve also found out about upcoming titles for the Arcade Archives series.

Newly-announced games include Donkey Kong Jr., Urban Champion, Alpha Mission, Ninja-Kid II, Route-16, Athena, Ikari Warriors, and Image Fight. Release dates have not yet been confirmed. We’ll keep you updated as Hamster pins down the dates.

Hamster is currently hosting a live stream on Niconico from the Tokyo Game Show. During the event, several new NeoGeo games were announced for Switch.

The King of Fighters 2001, Zupapa!, 3 Count Bout, Pleasure Goal, Savage Reign, and Strikers 1945 Plus are on the way. Bust-A-Move and Bust-A-Move Again were also reconfirmed.

No word on specific release dates at this time. However, these games should be rolled out gradually in the near future.

Leif's Adventure: Netherworld Hero

The Famicast has recorded new gameplay of Leif’s Adventure: Netherworld Hero from the Tokyo Game Show. For a look at the footage, continue on below.

Smite fans have been poking through the game’s 5.18 patch and have found something rather interesting. A reference to Switch now exists in the latest engine config file under the Oasis tag. Strings are included for the eShop in which players would be able to purchase gems.

If everything here sounds familiar, that’s because something similar happened with Paladins before it was officially announced for Switch. Hi-Rez Studios is likely preparing its MOBA for Nintendo’s console, though it’s unclear when an official announcement will be made.
