Here’s more on Turbo Pug DX:

Romancing SaGa and the SaGa series in general has had a long history in the RPG world, first launching in 1989 as The Final Fantasy Legend. While we’ve seen a few SaGa games localized since then, Romancing SaGa 2 in particular never saw a release until recently on mobile a few years ago, before making its way to consoles now just before the new year of 2018. Unfortunately, this is a poor port of the mobile version of the game localized years ago, and not a remaster of the original title on the Super Famicom. This becomes problematic in a lot of ways, and the Switch suffers heavily from it.

Immortal Redneck

We found out a few months ago that Immortal Redneck, a first-person shooter set in Egypt with rogue-lite elements, had been rated for Switch in Taiwan. It was a strong sign that the game would eventually end up on the console.

Confirmation has now come in, and Immoral Redneck will indeed be coming to Switch. It will be out sometime in Q1 2018.

For those who missed our original coverage, we’ve included an overview of Immortal Redneck below, plus a trailer.

Bloober Team confirmed last August that Brawl would be released on Switch. That looks to be happening very soon.

Over on Nintendo’s North American website, Brawl is listed for January 12. QubicGames will be handling publishing duties.

Here’s an overview:

Hamster has brought a ton of NeoGeo titles to Switch over the past year, including Magician Lord. For some time though, it had gone missing on the North American eShop.

The good news is that Magician Lord is available once more. We’re not sure why it was taken down in the first place, but we assume that it won’t be removed again.

The full patch notes are as follows:

Enter the Gungeon has received its first patch on Switch. The game has been updated to version 1.0.1.

According to Dodge Roll, the patch is very minor. The developer has only addressed “some minor text issues”.

Dodge Roll is also working on a more significant 1.0.2 update for Enter the Gungeon on Switch, which will fix some more notable issues. The team is currently working on getting it through certification.
