The Adventure Pals coming to Switch

Armor Games Studios announced today that Massive Monster’s side-scrolling action-platformer The Adventure Pals is coming to Switch. It’s planned for a Spring 2018 launch.
The Adventure Pals features RPG elements and local two-player co-op. You’ll be able to explore over 100 levels, battle enemies, visit towns, unlock costumes, and more. We have additional information below, along with a trailer.
Wizard of Legend heading to Switch in Q1 2018

It’s been announced that Wizard of Legend, an upcoming dungeon crawler, will be gracing Switch. Humble will be publishing the game on Nintendo’s console.
Wizard of Legend will be out on Switch in Spring 2018. We’ve posted more details and a trailer below.

Arcade Archives Traverse USA listed for release this week on Switch

Splasher returns to the North American Switch eShop

Splasher came to the Switch eShop about a month ago. However, soon after it launched, the game was pulled from the North American store. It was confirmed that an ESRB rating issue led to the temporary removal.
Today, Splasher was restored on the Switch eShop, and it can be purchased once again. The 2D platformer costs $14.99.

Overcooked: Special Edition update out now (version 1.1.0)

A new update has gone live for Overcooked: Special Edition. Switch players now have access to version 1.1.0.
The developers behind Overcooked have said that the update addresses a bug with the controls and 8-way movement. We’re unsure if the patch encompasses anything else. If any other news comes in, we’ll keep you updated.
ACORN Tactics footage

Playtonic on the response to Yooka-Laylee, how Switch visuals stack up to PS4/Xbox One, physical release possible

Playtonic finally delivered the news Switch fans had been waiting for regarding Yooka-Laylee. After a fairly lengthy wait, the 3D platformer is confirmed for December 14 as an eShop download.
Nintendo Life spoke with Playtonic Games’ creative lead and managing director Gavin Price following the news. Price talked about the original reception, how Yooka-Laylee’s visuals on Switch stack up to other versions, and a possible physical release.
