Bot Gaiden gameplay

Bot Gaiden, the 2D platformer from Eastasiasoft and SwordSwipe Studios, has been given new gameplay. 17 minutes of footage has come in.

Orbital Bullet update 1.1.0 Over 9000

Orbital Bullet has only been on Switch for a little while, but new content has already arrived in the form of an update known as “Over 9000”.

The action-platformer has received hundreds of QoL improvements, buffed weapons, and reward system overhauls. Overall, the patch is about addressing player feedback.

Colossal Cave release date

A final release date has been announced for Colossal Cave, a re-imagining of the original celebrated text adventure by Will Crowther and Don Woods. The title is set to hit Switch on January 19, 2023.

Colossal Cave was previously announced for Switch in August. The game has technically been delayed as it was originally planned for this year.

Earthblade

The Game Awards 2022 has provided a first look at Earthblade, the next game from the creators of Celeste. The “explor-action platformer” is set to launch in 2024.

Hades II

Hades II is now in development, Supergiant Games just announced. The company revealed the news at The Game Awards 2022 moments ago.

Hades previously launched on Switch, and it’s expected that the same will happen with its sequel. Nintendo’s console actually received the first title on the same day it left early access.

Mineko's Night Market town

Humble Games and Meowza Games are back with another trailer for Mineko’s Night Market. In today’s video, fans can catch a glimpse at life on Mt. Fugu. Here players can pet kitties, craft crafts, master the Night Market, solve puzzles, and uncover mysteries.

Mail Time delayed

Mail Time has been delayed, and will now launch in April 2023.

The relaxing, cottagecore adventure was previously announced for Switch in June. When we last heard about the project, it was on track for Q4 2022. A reason for the delay hasn’t been provided, but we’re assuming it comes down to more development time being needed.

Astronomical Club For Queers

RedDeerGames has announced that it is publishing Astronomical Club For Queers on Switch. The title already has a release date, and is scheduled for December 23, 2022.

RedEerGames describes Astronomical Club For Queers as a “heart-rending and graphically stunning story about the differences between people”. Some additional information can be found in the following overview:

Pinball FX Switch

Today, Zen Studios announced that it’s putting Pinball FX on Switch in 2023. It was previously confirmed for the console back in March 2021.

Pinball FX, which was made with Unreal Engine, features original tables as well as ones based on entertainment brands, allowing players to customize their own 3D dream game room – the Pin Hall – full of collectibles and rewards unlocked by playing the game. New features are planned for the future, including Pinball Royale – a frantically exciting multiplayer action mode incorporating battle royale-style gameplay.
