Tandem: A Tale of Shadows

Tandem: A Tale of Shadows now has a release date on Switch. The game is slated for October 21, Hatinh Interactive and developer Monochrome announced today.

Stuck In Attic has announced Near-Mage, a narrative-heavy adventure game. The project is planned for Switch, though there’s no word on release timing at present.

Pokemon Unite Blissey

Pokemon Unite is receiving Blissey as its next character, The Pokemon Company and TiMi Studio Group have announced. The roster will be updated with the addition on August 18.

Blissey is a Supporter Pokemon “with moves that heal or increase basic attack speed”, according to The Pokemon Company. Bliss Assistance is its Unique Move, which “allows it to dash to an ally’s aid and protect that ally from attacks.”

Beasts of Maravilla Island

Whitethorn Digital and Banana Bird Studios have readied a new update for Beasts of Maravilla Island. The 3D adventure game is now at version 1.0.3 on Switch.

This week’s update includes skippable cutscenes and a ton of different fixes. Continue on below for the full patch notes.

Monster Hunter Generations Ultimate

Live Wire and Cave brought Mushihimesama to Switch back in June. Next month, the companies will be following up with another shoot ’em up game.

Espgaluda II is planned for a September 9 release on Switch, it’s been revealed. Much like Mushihimesama, it will be offered through the eShop.

Espgaluda II first debuted in arcades back in 2005, and the title has appeared on a few different platforms since then. We’ve included a trailer for the decade-old Xbox 360 version below.
