Gameplay has come in for Ogu and the Secret Forest, which was among the various new Nintendo Switch games that launched this week. 20 minutes of footage is here for the hand-drawn adventure title.

Plenty of details can be found in the following overview:

A couple months back, we wrote a big list of games that would benefit from performance patches on Nintendo Switch 2. That was before we knew exactly how Switch 2 Editions worked, though – and it was also before we knew Switch 2 Editions existed at all. Right now, six first and second-party Nintendo games have Switch 2 Editions: Metroid Prime 4, Pokemon Legends Z-A, Kirby and the Forgotten Land, Zelda Breath of the Wild and Tears of the Kingdom, and Super Mario Party Jamboree. These upgrades are all paid, and then several more games are getting free performance patches on Switch 2. Today, we’re going over existing Switch games that aren’t on either of these lists that could really use the performance or resolution boost.

We’ve got a bit of news for those looking to secure a physical copy of Tamagotchi Plaza. Over in Japan, Bandai Namco will be putting the game out at retail.

Tamagotchi Plaza will be available in boxed form on both Nintendo Switch 1 and 2. For the Nintendo Switch 2 Edition, everything is included on the cartridge – it’s not a game-key card release. Also, both Nintendo Switch 1 and 2 will support English alongside Japanese.

SaGa Frontier 2 Remastered physical

In the very near future, SaGa Frontier 2 Remastered will be receiving a physical release on Nintendo Switch.

You may recall that the game was announced and released during a Nintendo Direct several weeks ago. Initially, it was sold only as a digital download. But now a physical release is heading to Japan – and English will be supported on the cartridge.

Cooking Companions trailer

Nintendo Accounts portal

As Nintendo Switch 2 approaches and with the release of a big firmware update this release for the company’s current system, something you might want to be made aware of (if you haven’t already) is a new portal site for Nintendo Accounts.

A website for Nintendo Accounts was previously started, which still exists. That site has also seen a few changes, but it currently houses user information, sign in and security settings, the ability to manage Family Groups, privacy and other settings, and a QR code for event check ins. Managing passes, checking on My Nintendo points, and various items related to funds and payments are on the new portal site.

Suikoden 1 2 HD Remaster 1.0.3 update

Konami released one of the first post-launch updates for Suikoden 1 & 2 HD Remaster this week, and on Nintendo Switch, it’s now at version 1.0.3.

New functions have been added alongside tons of bug fixes. These include the ability to toggle music playback speed when using the double speed function, turning on/off auto-saves, and more.
