Miraculous Paris Under Siege

GameMill and Petit Fabrik are teaming up on their new game Miraculous: Paris Under Siege, both companies announced today. The title will head to Switch on October 25, 2024.

Miraculous: Paris Under Siege is a third-person action adventure platformer inspired by the animated television series Miraculous: Tales of Ladybug and Cat Noir. Shadow Moth unleashes a wave of villains across the city, and it’ll be up to you to take him down.

Barkour

Varsav Game Studios, the team behind Bee Simulator, today announced its new project Barkour. It’ll land on Switch sometime in 2025.

Barkour is an action stealth game in which you play as a canine 009 agent working for a secret organization that fights against evil. Expect to explore diverse locations and use hi-tech gadgets.

GSD data provides a look at the best-selling games across Europe in July 2024. It’s based on data for all physical game releases in major markets plus digital game sales from most major publishers.

There’s one Nintendo game in the top ten, which is Luigi’s Mansion 2 HD – it’s actually the only game from 2024 on the chart. Other titles on the list include Hogwarts Legacy, Civilization VI, and It Takes Two.

A second spotlight trailer for Marvel vs. Capcom Fighting Collection: Arcade Classics just came in, this time for Marvel Super Heroes. The game features the X-Men as well as Spider-Man, Iron Man, Captain America, and other iconic characters, and there are features like air combos and Gem Abilities.

Mortal Kombat 1 Cyrax

Last Time I Saw You release date

We now have the release date for Last Time I Saw You, a new coming-of-age adventure game. On Switch, it’ll be out on October 10, 2024.

Last Time I Saw You was originally announced for Switch in November 2022. The initial launch target was Summer 2024, and although that was missed, the title is now just a couple of months away.

Phantom Brave The Lost Hero battle system

NIS America dropped a new round of details today for Phantom Brave: The Lost Hero, this time for the battle system. Fans can learn about the Confine and Confriend features plus a few other bits such as what you can do at Skullrock Island.

LEGO Horizon Adventures physical

LEGO Horizons Adventures is now confirmed to be handled by Solutions 2 Go, a video game publisher and global distributor based in the Greater Toronto Area. The company made the announcement today.

That means Sony actually won’t be involved with the Switch release. The eShop launch and any physical version will instead fall to Solutions 2 Go.

Maid of the Dead physical

Maid of the Dead has been on the Switch eShop for a little while now, but there was no physical option to speak of. That’s about to change with a boxed version due out shortly in Asia.

H2 Interactive is in charge of the new physical release. Aside from English, the cartridge will support Traditional Chinese, Simplified Chinese, and Japanese. The game will work with all Switch systems worldwide.

Xbox and Obsidian issued a new version 1.4.4 update for Grounded, which includes some Switch-specific additions and changes such as gyro support.

Gyro functionality is optional, and it can be turned on and off with one of the settings. Elsewhere Microsoft accounts are no longer permanently linked, cutscenes have been improved to make them less choppy, and more.
