Paleo Pines update 1.3.3

The next significant Paleo Pines update has arrived in the form of version 1.3.3.

Some new content and features are here including new dino colors, the Chocolate Egg Hunt for a limited time, and more. A few fixes are also included.

Crown Wars The Black Prince 2024

Crown Wars: The Black Prince appeared during today’s Nacon Connect presentation with a release date, though not for the Switch version. Although it’ll be coming to most platforms on March 14, we can only say that it’s heading to Nintendo’s console later in 2024.

Crown Wars: The Black Prince was first announced in July 2022. Originally, it was planned for release in 2023.

Contra: Operation Galuga physical

A physical release for Contra: Operation Galuga was previously confirmed as part of the initial announcement, but we now have full details as to what Limited Run Games has in store.

There’ll be a standard version, Classic Edition, and Ultimate Edition. The Classic Edition contains the game, special box with metallic ink, retro style dust jacket, 12″ x 16″ double-sided poster featuring art from Peach Momoko, and the soundtrack. The Ultimate Edition includes all of these items plus a steelbook, soundtrack with bonus tracks and two additional discs, Bill and Lance action figures with weapons accessories, Bill and Lance dog tags, Earth Marine Corps patch, Red Falcon metal pin, art book, and sticker sheet.

Earth Defense Force: World Brothers 2 release date

D3Publisher today announced that Earth Defense Force: World Brothers 2 is receiving a worldwide release, and confirmed that the release date is set for September 26, 2024.

Earth Defense Force: World Brothers 2 was originally announced last August. However, this is the first time we’re hearing about a western launch.

Splatoon 3 Fresh Season 2024

February 13: Nintendo has provided a first look at Splatoon 3 Fresh Season 2024, which starts in the game on March 1.

A bunch of new content is being added to the game at no extra cost. There’ll be new multiplayer stages, such as the Marlin Airport battle stage and the Bonerattle Arena Salmon Run stage. Players can also expect new weapons like brella and dualies variants and additional new items like the Fizzbang that can be used during Splatfests.

DNF Duel Monk

February 14: Nexon, Neople, Arc System Works, and Eighting have announced Monk as the latest DLC character for DNF Duel. As of now there’s no word on a release date.

The official description reads: “Brace yourselves, Monk is coming! Get ready for intense Holy Fist battles in DNF DUEL. The stage is set for divine justice—are you up for the challenge?”

Riviera The Promised Land

January 31: According to this week’s issue of Famitsu, Riviera: The Promised Land is heading to Switch. Thus far it’s only confirmed for Japan where it’s set to launch on February 28, 2024.

Sting first revealed the Riviera: The Promised Land last July. However, there was no word on platforms at the time.

The latest issue of Weekly Famitsu magazine has revealed that Compile Heart plans to port three games in the Hyperdimension Neptunia series over to Switch.

The three games in question will be Hyperdimension Neptunia Re;Birth 1, Hyperdimension Neptunia Re;Birth 2: Sisters Generation, and Hyperdimension Neptunia Re;Birth 3: V Generation. All of these titles were originally PlayStation Vita remasters of the first three Hyperdimension Neptunia games, now making their appearance on Nintendo systems for the first time.
