Tokyo Xanadu eX+ will be seeing English release on Switch in the west, publisher Aksys Games and developer Falcom just revealed. Fans will be able to pick it up in June 2024.

Tokyo Xanadu eX+ was originally announced for Switch last year and released in Japan last June. This version of the action RPG includes new scenarios, new playable characters, new modes, and more.

Bestiario

Wiggin Industries’ new project Bestiario has been confirmed for Switch after just launching on Kickstarter.

The campaign started today and already smashed its €50,000 funding goal. There’s a month to go and plenty of time to get involved.

Developer TrickJump Games and publisher PQube have announced that a Switch version of ArcRunner will be releasing alongside other console versions on April 18. The game is a cyberpunk roguelite shooter in which the player will seek to reset a rogue AI that has turned evil by fighting their way through zones utilizing cybernetic firearms and various augments which can be upgraded with nanites gained along the way.

Developer PM Studios have released a new update for My Time at Sandrock, bringing the game up to version 1.1.4.2. The patch is a small one that is focused primarily on fixing the bugs that came with the most recent update. Full details can be found below:

Upcoming adventure game Shanghai Summer will be making its way to Switch, publisher Astrolabe Games just announced. Players won’t have to wait long, as the game is set to release on February 8.

Shanghai Summer is a melancholy adventure game set in 2003 Shanghai. Players will experience the story of protagonist Baichuan over the course of 12 days as he revisits the hopes and regrets of his past.

Pokemon Scarlet Violet update 3.0.1

Pokemon Scarlet and Violet just released their latest update, version 3.0.1.

A number of different bugs have been fixed here. Among them is one involving materials needed to craft TM223 dropped by a creature that only appeared in one version of th egame.

Mario vs Donkey Kong demo

Starting today, Mario vs. Donkey Kong fans can get their hands on a brand new demo ahead of launch.

The demo can be accessed via the Switch eShop. It includes four levels from the first world of Mario vs. Donkey Kong, the enhanced version of the Game Boy Advance. Also available is a first look at the new Two Player mode, where you can share one of your Joy-Con controllers with a friend and team up as Mario and Toad. That’s along with access to the game’s new difficulty settings in single-player mode – choose Classic Style to experience the same difficulty level as the original Game Boy Advance version or try out Casual Style with no time limit and the ability to restart from checkpoints.

Sonic x Shadow Generations

More than a decade after its original release, Sonic Generations is making a comeback with a remaster known as Sonic x Shadow Generations. It will be available on Switch this fall.

This is actually going beyond a simple remaster. A brand new campaign will be added focusing on Shadow the Hedgehog while the main game features “upgraded visuals and new bonus content.”

Publisher ESDigital Games and developer Lofty Sky Entertainment have announced that their new sci-fi adventure game Sky of Tides will be making its way onto Nintendo Switch.

Sky of Tides is a story-heavy sci-fi adventure game with RPG elements. Players will explore the fractured planet of Numen, exploring its harsh yet mysterious landscapes while shaping the interactive narrative through diverse dialogue options.
