A few weeks ago, Famitsu did something rather interesting and out of the norm for the magazine. A questionnaire was sent out to overseas fans – as opposed to readers in Japan – and asked them to share some information about their favorite Japanese games. The results were published in the latest issue this week.

When Donkey Kong Country: Tropical Freeze was originally on Wii U, one of DK’s idle animations showed the character taking out and playing a 3DS. Now that the game is on Switch, the animation has been updated. You can see it in action below.
FunimationNow app coming to Switch

Funimation is currently hosting a panel at C2E2. During the event, it was announced that a FunimationNow app is in development for Switch.
FunimationNow lets users watch HD, ad-free anime shows featuring iconic classics and the new series streaming just hours after they air in Japan. English-dubbed episodes and original Japanese with English subtitles are available.
A subscription to FunimationNow costs $5.99 monthly.
