RUINER developers considered a Switch version at one point
Posted on 7 years ago by Nick in News, Switch | 6 Comments
In an interview with DualShockers and RUINER developer Reikon Games, they were asked if there would be any consideration of bringing the game to Switch. The devs responded that they had been some consideration, but “very abstractly”. So it doesn’t seem like it will happen anytime soon, but the possibility is always up there. You can see the whole interview in the source below.

How to unlock Dragon Ball Xenoverse 1 story content in Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2 for Switch
Posted on 7 years ago by Brian(@NE_Brian) in News, Switch, Videos | 6 Comments
Bandai Namco did something interesting for Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2 on Switch. After completing certain sections, you can access story content from the original Dragon Ball Xenoverse.
It’s actually pretty simple. As long as you finish one story in Xenoverse 2, you can access the story from the original. So after completing the Buu saga in Xenoverse 2 for instance, the Xenoverse 1 version will be unlocked.
Patrick Seitz looks to be the voice of Olberic in Project Octopath Traveler
Posted on 7 years ago by Brian(@NE_Brian) in News, Switch | 5 Comments
Yesterday, we reported that Laura Post is the voice of Primrose in Project Octopath Traveler. We also seem to have the actor for Olberic.
While he didn’t technically confirm his role explicitly, Patrick Seitz appears to be voicing the character. Seitwiz put out a tweet a couple of days ago showing the art for Olberic.
— Patrick Seitz (@Seitz_Unseen) September 14, 2017
Seitz has been involved with tons of games over the years. Perhaps you’ll recognize him as Magnus from Kid Icarus: Uprising? Or maybe as Zeke from Fire Emblem Echoes? He also voiced Draug and Hector in Fire Emblem Heroes, among many others.
Thanks to Anthony for the tip.

Video: Reggie on why Switch has been so popular
Posted on 7 years ago by Brian(@NE_Brian) in Switch, Videos | 120 Comments
During Variety’s Entertainment and Technology Summit, Nintendo of America president Reggie Fils-Aime was asked about Switch’s success thus far. He weighed in on why the system has been flying off store shelves.
Reggie first highlighted that the ability to take home console games on the go is a big selling point. Having great games like Zelda: Breath of the Wild as well as support from big third-parties and indies has also been important.
Here’s the full response from Reggie:

[Review] LEGO Worlds
Posted on 7 years ago by Jakob Vujovic(@jakovujo) in Reviews, Switch | 9 Comments
System: Switch
Release date: September 5, 2017
Developer: TT Games
Publisher: Warner Bros. Interactive
Minecraft stole the market for the kind of LEGO game that as a kid, I, and I’m sure many others dreamed of. LEGO was my go-to toy, but those bricks are expensive. It only takes one missing piece or one wrong brick color to throw a whole construction project off. At least for a kid who was a little too detail obsessed.

Suda51 on No More Heroes being accepted more in the west vs. Japan, news on Sylvia coming for Travis Strikes Again
Posted on 7 years ago by Brian(@NE_Brian) in News, Switch | 16 Comments
GamesRadar recently caught up for an interview with Suda51 for all things Travis Strikes Again: No More Heroes. Although there was talk about the upcoming Switch game, Suda51 took some time to reflect on the series as a whole.
One noteworthy part of the discussion came about while Suda51 commented on No More Heroes being accepted in the west compared to Japan. He said that there has “definitely” been a “much more positive reaction” in North America and Europe. Although the reaction in Japan hasn’t been particularly bad, it perhaps hasn’t been as warmly received due to its violent nature and blood.
