Yesterday, the Japanese ARMS Twitter account posted a mysterious GIF of what looks to be a new item in ARMS. The tweet itself doesn’t give much information, but the clip does show a Helix clone punching it a few times before it opens and shows a Hedlok mask.

So what could this be about? Perhaps the item is tied into a new kind of mode? We did hear producer Yosuke Kabuke say that a new mode is coming to ARMS, though Nintendo hasn’t elaborated on it.

Despite what we heard last year, Bloodstained: Ritual of the Night may not opt for a staggered content model. If this is something the team decides to pursue, some features and content may come after the game’s launch.

That seemed like the plan back in 2016. However, creator Koji Igarashi has now said that a definitive decision has not been made. It’s something that’s being considered, and though the approach has certain benefits, “it’s something we’ll have to discuss later.”

Igarashi told Apptrigger:

Amazon UK posted the boxart for Monopoly on Switch… though it has now been removed upon checking on the listing for a second time. In any case, we’ve attached the packaging image above.

Ubisoft’s boxarts tend to be uniform across regions. The image should be the same in North America (just with an ESRB logo), but we’ll let you know if anything changes.

Thanks to Jake for the tip.

Just like yesterday, Amazon has the gray Switch unit in stock for Prime members. Orders can be placed here. Be quick, since this will probably sell out relatively quickly again.

If the big interview we translated with Monolith Soft’s Tetsuya Takahashi wasn’t enough, TIME also has a discussion with the Xenoblade Chronicles 2 director. The latest discussion covers Switch vs. Wii U development, how the collaboration with Tetsuya Nomura came to be for certain character designs, and a possible Switch version of Xenoblade Chronicles X.

These excerpts and a few other notable ones have been posted below. You can read the full interview here.

HORI announced a keyboard for Switch last month. Cyber Gadget is making a similar accessory, and it’s rather interesting.

Unlike HORI’s offering, you can dock the Joy-Con on the left and right sides. However, doing so won’t charge the controllers. It can be convenient though, and may work very well with a game like Dragon Quest X in which chat is used.

Apparently the keyboard is compatible with the PlayStation 4 and PC, so it’s also multipurpose. It’s lightweight as well at just 250g.

Cyber Gadget’s keyboard is estimated for release in Japan at the end of September. Pricing is set at 3,578 yen.

GamesIndustry notes that “you could sell under 5,000 units to break the Top 50 this week, and you only needed a little more than 21,000 copies sold to reach the Top Ten.” Also, Switch accounted for 5.7 percent of games sold last month. With the system’s small install base, that number does make sense.

Earlier this year, Farming Simulator was confirmed to be heading to Switch. Nothing was said about the project at the time, however.

A rating for Farming Simulator 17: Nintendo Switch Edition has now popped up in Australia. Although no such title has been officially announced yet, this is the game Nintendo’s console appears to be getting.

Assuming the classification is accurate, it is a bit odd that Switch would be getting Farming Simulator 17 rather than Farming Simulator 18. On 3DS, Farming Simulator 18 released last month.

We’ll be on the lookout for additional news about Farming Simulator 17: Nintendo Switch Edition.

French website Gamekult recently published a new interview with Xenoblade Chronicles 2 director Tetsuya Takahashi. Unlike some of the interviews coming out of E3, this one is almost entirely focused on the game itself. Takahashi commented on the visual style and approach to character design, exploration, multiplayer, side quests, and much more. He also commented on the Baten Kaitos DS project that never came to be, though he didn’t have much to say.

We’ve prepared a full translation of Gamekult’s interview. Continue on below to see what Takahashi had to say about all things Xenoblade Chronicles 2.

Nicalis has shared the boxart for Ittle Dew 2 on Switch, which is officially confirmed for a physical release. Check it out above.
