Jurassic Park Classic Games Collection details

Limited Run Games has provided new details on Jurassic Park Classic Games Collection. We first found out about this a few months ago, but little information was initially provided.

The Jurassic Park Classic Games Collection uses Limited Run’s Carbon Engine. It’ll feature Jurassic Park and Jurassic Park Part 2: The Chaos Continues, originally released across NES, Game Boy, and SNES.

Here’s the official blurb:

Super Crazy Rhythm Castle

Super Crazy Rhythm Castle is on the way to Switch, publisher Konami and developer Second Impact Games just announced. The title does not yet have a release window.

Super Crazy Rhythm Castle is a character-based rhythm adventure game in which players go on an adventure through a bizarre castle, with a cruel king hell-bent on throwing them off rhythm. The game can be played alone or with up to three friends.

Switch Split Pad Compact Sonic

HORI is adding two more designs to its lineup of Switch Split Pad Compacts, with Sonic the Hedgehog and Pac-Man now getting the spotlight.

As a reminder, the Split Pad Compact is an updated version of the Split Pad Pro with a focus on handheld player. It features full-size analog sticks and a d-pad plus turbo functions and assignable rear buttons. However, it does not support motion controls, HD Rumble, NFC, and the IR camera.

Mario Kart 8 Deluxe update 2.4.0

Mario Kart 8 Deluxe just started distribution of its latest update, version 2.4.0.

The patch is highlighted by the new Booster Course Pass DLC. Eight more tracks across two cups have been added, along with new playable characters – specifically Kamek (Mario Kart Tour), Petey Piranha (Mario Kart Double Dash!!), and Wiggler (Mario Kart 7).

Even if you don’t plan on nabbing the DLC, you’ll want to download the update as some other aspects are included. These include performance improvements of some characters and vehicle customizations, adjusted invincibility time of some characters, lowered appearance rate of Mirror and 200cc races in Worldwide and Regional settings, and more.

As life races by at the speed of a Blue Shell, it’s important that we all take the time to enjoy some good old-fashioned vroomin’ from time to time. Fortunately, in this week’s episode of Nintendo Everything Refresh we finally get to take a deeper look at the next round of Mario Kart 8 Deluxe DLC, which is bringing back some classic tracks that have at least one of us unreasonably excited. Nick and rising co-host Dawn will also discuss what the heck is going on with Pokemon Sleep, nerd out about the newest Sakurai deep-dive on Kid Icarus Uprising’s development, and much more!
