We have two more trailers for the Live A Live remake on Switch that highlight a couple of time periods players will experience in the RPG. For today’s update, Square Enix prepared videos for Present Day and The Distant Future.

These are just two of the time periods in Live A Live. Players will also be able to experience stories in the likes of The Wild West, Twilight of Edo Japan, and more.

Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba - The Hinokami Chronicles gameplay

After Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba – The Hinokami Chronicles previously appeared on other platforms, the title ended up on Switch just a few days ago, and we now have gameplay. Fans can watch a half hour of footage.

Here’s what to expect from the title:

Switch update 14.1.2

The latest Switch system update has just arrived, as Nintendo has just issued version 14.1.2. All Switch users can download it now.

Keeping in line with most firmware changes, today’s patch notes are on the milder side. Nintendo mentions: “General system stability improvements to enhance the user’s experience.”

Monster Hunter Rise: Sunbreak update roadmap

Capcom has provided a first look at its update roadmap for Monster Hunter Rise: Sunbreak.

Updates are scheduled for August, this fall, winter, and 2023. With the first one in August, we’ll be seeing Lucent Nargacuga, the Forlorn Arena, rare monster species, and special species monsters. For the fall, Capcom has confirmed rare species monsters, subspecies monsters, and powered-up monsters. This winter will at least bring about several monsters, including special species monsters and powered-up monsters. Specifics have not yet been announced.

Monster Hunter Rise: Sunbreak is due out for Switch on June 30, 2022.

Capcom just announced that Monster Hunter Rise: Sunbreak is getting a demo. It’ll be available worldwide on June 14, 2022.

In the demo, players can explore the “Jungle” locale and take on Astalos. It also features the new “Switch Skill Swap” system plus new “Skillbind Attacks”. A few tutorial quests are included for new players that teach basic mechanics and moves. Additionally, an “advanced” quest is available for veteran hunters where they can take on an extra challenging version of Malzeno, the flagship monster for Sunbreak.

Capcom Showcase 2022 live stream

Another non-E3 event is happening in just a bit, as the Capcom Showcase 2022 is expected to begin in an hour – and we have the live stream ready to go. The event kicks off at 3 PM PT / 6 PM ET / 11 PM in the UK / 12 AM in Europe.

In terms of Nintendo-related titles, we’re expecting Monster Hunter Rise: Sunbreak to show up here. It’s unclear if Capcom will be showing off anything else for Switch. In any case, fans can look forward to “news and in-depth updates” regarding previously announced games spread out across 35 minutes

Nexomon Extinction update June 2022

Nexomon Extinction received a new update today with quite a significant amount of content. Players can get their hands on a new post-game questline as well as 46 new creatures.

Original (6/12): Every so often we see buy 2, get 1 free sales from retailers, and a new one has just started up on Amazon.

As a Nintendo site, we’ll mention that a few different Switch games are included. It’s looking like the selection will be updated over the next few days, but currently the just-released Metal Max Xeno: Reborn, Triangle Strategy, Game Builder Garage, Pac-Man Museum+, Among Us: Ejected Edition, and WRC 10 are included.

Bandai Namco is back with another character trailer for JoJo’s Bizarre Adventure: All-Star Battle R, which puts the spotlight on Lisa Lisa. She’s a master of the Ripple technique and uses this ability through her unique scarf.

SEGA finally unveiled the first gameplay from Sonic Frontiers this month. Unfortunately, the fan reaction wasn’t too positive. Fans weren’t impressed with what was shown, which even resulted in #DelaySonicFrontiers trending on Twitter for a bit.

VGC recently was able to speak with Sonic Team studio head Takashi Iizuka, and asked about the reaction. Iizuka said that it wasn’t “that surprising” given how the open zone format is such a different take for the series, but feels players will get a better understanding once they try it out for themselves.
