echoes of wisdom amiibo rewards

The Legend of Zelda: Echoes of Wisdom is available now, and as with most recent Zelda games, it’s got compatibility with specific amiibo figures with rewards to unlock. This comes in the form of random cooking items and exclusive outfits, but the latter aren’t obtained until later in the game. This post contains very minor spoilers on what exactly you have to clear to unlock that functionality, but if you’re all good with that, then we’ve compiled all amiibo-exclusive gear and which specific figurines will yield what items.

Zelda Echoes of Wisdom UK sales chart

The latest UK software sales chart for the week ending September 28, 2024 is now available, and it includes the debut for The Legend of Zelda: Echoes of Wisdom.

The Switch exclusive came in at #2 for its first appearance – and remember, Nintendo does not report digital sales. Compared to the Zelda: Link’s Awakening remake, sales were 14 percent lower. Again, this is strictly based on physical sales.

Zelda: Echoes of Wisdom wasn’t the only new game on the UK sales char this week. Unsurprisingly, EA Sports FC 25 comes in at #2. Epic Mickey: Rebrushed also seemingly did well, appearing at #4 (platform breakdown was Switch at 48 percent, PS5 at 43 percent, Xbox at 8 percent, and PC at 1 percent).

Shadow movie Sonic Generations

SEGA shared plenty of news about Shadow x Sonic Generations this week, but the big announcement was that Shadow from the upcoming Sonic the Hedgehog 3 movie will be featured in the game. A level will be included that’s inspired by the film and Keanu Reeves is even on board to voice the character for the DLC.

Series producer Shun Nakamura spoke about how this all came about in an interview with the PlayStation Blog. He started off by sharing the following:

Splatoon 3 special weapons guide

Splatoon 3’s content cycle has largely come to an end, which means we may not see any major buffs or nerfs to weapons, subs, or specials. That means it’s as good a time as any to examine each of the game’s special weapons, how to use them most efficiently, and how to counter other players trying to use them against you.

If you haven’t played much Splatoon 3 lately, special weapons are arguably one of the most important elements of any game mode. They’re often responsible for completely turning the tide of battle upside down, especially when used well or coordinated with other teammates. It’s important to at least have a basic understanding of each special weapon you take into battle, and we’ll be going over basic to intermediate tips and tricks today.
