Wii U eShop

Asthree Works has decided to push back Paradise Lost: First Contact to mid-2015. The game was originally slated for this year.

Why the delay? Asthree Works explained in a Kickstarter update that roughly 80 percent of the animations were remade and the team hopes to achieve “balanced core mechanics that could evolve naturally within the player’s experience and type of play. That requires tons of hours of testing and repeating / changing puzzles and situations constantly… we have areas with endless possibilities to go through.”

Shantae and the Pirate’s Curse is almost here. The game is now in lot check, which is one of the final steps required before launching on the eShop.

Minecraft was never released on Wii U, and is unlikely to hit the console now that Microsoft purchased Mojang and the IP. However, this leaves a ripe opportunity for indie developers… and it sounds like something is already planned.

The first alpha image from “U Craft” – planned for the Wii U eShop – has been released. Unfortunately, not much is known currently, including the studio behind the project. We can apparently look forward to new information reveals from other studios in the future. Just take this with a grain of salt given the strangeness of U Craft’s announcement.

Adventures of Pip’s second Kickstarter campaign is a success. Total donations crossed the $40,000 mark just a couple of moments ago. As such, Adventures of Pip is now guaranteed for Wii U.

There’s still a little over a week remaining in Adventures of Pip’s Kickstarter. That doesn’t leave too much time for stretch goals, but a notable one lies ahead at $70,000 – “Game+ Mode”.

Saturnine Games is finishing up work on the Wii U version of Turtle Tale. A release date hasn’t been announced, but it “shouldn’t be too far off.”

On 3DS, Turtle Tale will be receiving an update that will implement a few improvements. There are also plans to allow for synchronization with the Wii U version.

As mentioned by Saturnine on Twitter:
