New Splatoon Wii U bundle coming to Japan on July 7

Nintendo is planning on launching a new Splatoon Wii U bundle in Japan soon. Consumers will be able to pick up a package containing a white 32GB system, pre-installed copy of Splatoon, and the Squid Sisters amiibo on July 7. Pricing is set at 39,960 yen.

CEO2016 will be taking place in about a month from now. Nintendo has announced a partnership with the tournament, which will heavily feature Super Smash Bros. Melee and Super Smash Bros. for Wii U.
Nintendo posted the following on Twitter a few minutes ago:
We're partnering with @CEOGaming on June 24-26 to bring you #SmashBros Melee & Smash Bros. for Wii U. For more info: https://t.co/yiuVxFZig0

CEOGaming 2016 will run between June 24 and June 26.

Super Mario Maker – Hello Kitty and My Melody costumes out now with new Event Course

Two new costumes are now available in Super Mario Maker. After finishing the new Event Course, players can unlock outfits based on Hello Kitty and My Melody.
Here’s an overview of the course:
Sanrio characters Kitty and Melody find themselves in the world of Super Mario! At first it seems like a fun place, with cute blocks shaped like apples and flowers. But they’d better be careful, because there’s danger up ahead! Won’t you help them find their way safely to the goal?

Note that you need to complete the level twice in order to obtain both costumes.

Zelda Wii U to have two extended demos at E3, media asked to set aside 90 minutes

Update: We now have confirmation on this (thanks immewnity). The email sent out to press does make mention of the “two extended demos” that will let them “step into the wilds of Hyrule and explore some of the grasslands, forests and mountains that they’ve been given mere glimpses of to date.” Media are recommended to set aside 1-1.5 hours.
Zelda Wii U will be the one and only game playable from Nintendo at E3 2016 next month. Outlet finder.com.au now claims to have some information about its appearance.
The site notes, “Nintendo is informing media that there will be two extended demos of the Wii U version to play at the booth and are being asked to set aside 90 minutes to make the most of the gameplay.” I’ve not heard about this personally, though that doesn’t mean that the report from finder.com.au is inaccurate. We’ll go ahead and mark this one as a rumor to be on the safe side.

Inti Creates CEO is not happy with the new Mighty No. 9 trailer

Mighty No. 9 publisher Deep Silver uploaded a new trailer for the game yesterday. To say that it wasn’t received well might be an understatement. Have a look at the YouTube page here, and you’ll truly understand how fans have responded to the video.
Inti Creates CEO Takuya Aizu is none too pleased with the new Mighty No. 9 trailer either. Aizu recently put up the message shown above on his Twitter page yesterday. Perhaps Deep Silver should have consulted with Inti Creates, as they were behind the project’s development.
