Nintendo is bringing out another new Splatoon map tomorrow. The new map, known as Flounder Heights, will be added at the following times:

Thursday – 7 PM PT
Thursday – 10 PM ET
Friday – 3 AM in the UK
Friday – 4 AM in Europe

Nintendo has published the second entry in its video feature for the Super Mario Maker Facebook hackathon. The second episode, “Evaluate + Decide”, is posted below. Look for the next (and perhaps final) episode on Friday.

Nintendo has put out the second video in its new Super Mario Maker video series. You can view today’s video below, which highlights the usage of sound effects.

This week’s Famitsu scans are now available. Highlighted games include Chibi-Robo!: Zip Lash, Dragon Quest VIII, Pokemon Super Mystery Dungeon, Project X Zone 2, Super Mario Maker, Super Robot Wars BX, and Yo-Kai Watch Dance: Just Dance Special Version. Nintendo recently announced a Splatoon tournament for Japan. New information about the event, Splatoon Koshien, was delivered today.

The first part of Splatoon Koshien 2016 will begin at the following locations:

Fukuoka (September 13)
Sapporo (September 26)
Nagoya (October 11)
Osaka (November 3)
Miyagi (November 15)
Hiroshima (November 22)
Kagawa (December 13)
Tokyo (January 30)

Each one of these events will feature 4-on-4 matches (teams of four on both sides) in Turf War, with no weapon limitations. A lottery will be held to determine players if there is an overflow of participants at any of the local tournaments.

Each player who enters will be given a wristband. Additionally, the teams that are victorious at the different events will be able to compete in the Game Party Japan 2016 this coming January to determine a final winning group.

Last week it was revealed that Yo-kai Watch was getting its own music game in the form of a spinoff of Ubisoft’s Just Dance series, titled Yo-kai Watch Dance. The game would end up being a collaboration between Level-5 and Ubisoft and release for the Wii U sometime in the future.

Now the very first screenshots of the upcoming game have been revealed. Check them out below!

 

Currently there is no set release date for Yo-Kai Watch Dance or any mention of it making its way west.
