WWE 2K25 Nintendo Switch 2

WWE 2K25 has been officially revealed for Nintendo Switch 2, and it’s probably coming sooner than you thought. According to a listing on the Nintendo eShop, it’s slated for July 23, 2025.

We’ve technically known that WWE was bound for the console following a Nintendo Direct in April. 2K said the franchise would be appearing on the new platform – but did not provide any further information at the time.

Fans will be able to choose between the following versions:

Donkey Kong Bananza developer

After plenty of speculation, Nintendo has finally confirmed the developer of Donkey Kong Bananza.

According to the company, the project is being made by the same developers as Super Mario Odyssey. However, no further details has been provided. Many had assumed this to be the case, but it’s nice to have an official confirmation.

Full Metal Schoolgirl

D3Publisher, along with Yukes, today unveiled Full Metal Schoolgirl for Nintendo Switch 2. A release is planned for October 23, 2025.

Full Metal Schoolgirl is an action shooting game. Playing as one of two heroines, you’ll look to fight back against the Meternal Jobz corporation.

Street Fighter 6 Aespa and Naevis collaboration

Capcom isn’t slowing down with its support for Street Fighter 6, and today pulled back the curtain on a new collaboration with Aespa and Naevis. The fun begins on July 4, 2025.

Aespa is a South Korean girl group while Naevis is a virtual idol and extension of that. Fans will be able to get their hands on a new Aespa outfit for Juri (for one year only). Additionally, Naevis will join as a real-time commentator.

Disney Speedstorm Nintendo Switch 2 update

Disney Speedstorm is receiving a free update on Nintendo Switch 2, Gameloft has announced.

The team is promising “a much smoother, sharper racing experience thanks to performance enhancements exclusive to the new hardware”. On Nintendo Switch 2, Disney Speedstorm will run at a full 60 frames per second, compared to the previous 30 FPS limit.

Mario Kart World is still doing well, but settles for second this week. It’s still leading the way as far as Nintendo Switch 2 games are concerned. We also see the physical release of The Thing: Remastered debut – 25 percent of sales came from the Nintendo Switch version.

Air Combat 22 Nintendo Switch 2 Switch

Today, Hamster announced that it will release Air Combat 22 on both Nintendo Switch 2 and Switch. The game launches on July 3, 2025.

Air Combat 22 will be available for the Arcade Archives 2 series on Nintendo Switch 2. It will be sold under the original Arcade Archives label on Nintendo Switch.

Bandai Namco Summer Showcase 2025

A Bandai Namco Summer Showcase 2025 will air on July 2, it’s been announced. Fans can tune in at 12 PM PT / 3 PM ET / 8 PM in the UK / 9 PM in Europe.

A new My Hero Academia game has been teased for the presentation. Other confirmed games include Everybody’s Golf Hot Shots, -Little Nightmares 3, Patapon 1 + 2 Replay, Shadow Labyrinth, Super Robot Wars Y, Tekken 8, Code Vein 2, The Blood of Dawnwalker, and Death Note Killer Within.
