Xenoblade Chronicles: Definitive Edition

Nintendo has shared a new interview with some of the key developers behind Xenoblade Chronicles: Definitive Edition. They include producer Shigekazu Yamada, director Yuki Sakamoto, executive director Tetsuya Takahashi, and co-producer Genki Yokoto.

Though the interview was short, some interesting comments were shared. The team was asked about topics like why Xenoblade Chronicles still resonates with long-time fans to this day, how remastering the music came about, and more.

Story of Seasons: Friends of Mineral Town

XSEED Games and Marvelous have shared a new trailer for Story of Seasons: Friends of Mineral Town. View the video below.

Story of Seasons: Friends of Mineral Town is due out for Switch in North America on July 14 and July 10 in Europe.

Remothered: Broken Porcelain

Publisher Modus Games and developer Stormind Games dated the survival horror game Remothered: Broken Porcelain during the Future Games Show today. On Switch and other platforms, it’ll be out on August 25.

The Future Games Show will be starting soon. Today’s broadcast is set to begin at 2 PM PT / 5 PM ET / 10 PM in the UK / 11 PM in Europe.

The stream promises new trailers and announcements, though it remains to be seen how much of the content will be Nintendo-related. We’ll report back on any Switch news, of course.

Rogue Lords

Rogue Lords, the tactical roguelike game from Nacon, Leikir Studio, and Cyanide Studio is seeing a delay. Previously scheduled for this fall, the game will now launch in 2021.

Cris Tales

Modus Games, Dreams Uncorporated, and SYCK have set a final release date for Cris Tales, the turn-based indie love letter to classic JRPGs. The game will launch for Switch on November 17, the three companies revealed today.

Alongside today’s news, a teaser was shared for the game’s opening cinematic that shows protagonist Crisbell’s fight to prevent her homeland’s fiery demise at the hands of a menacing Empress. We have that below, along with an official overview.

Empire of Sin

Romero Games, in conjunction with publisher Paradox Interactive, debuted a new gameplay demo for Empire of Sin. Come see the video below for the latest look at the upcoming Switch title.

Guerrilla Collective is set to take place over a three day period. The first couple of days are particularly interesting, with dedicated showcases planned for upcoming reveals. Today’s festivities will be kicking off at 10 AM PT / 1 PM ET / 6 PM in the UK / 7 PM in Europe.

Nintendo Switch

Target is gearing up for one of its semi-regular buy 2, get 1 free deals. Consumers will actually be able to mix and match games with movies, books, and music.

The upcoming ad for Target indicates that “select” Switch games will be included. It shows a few different titles, including Mario + Rabbids Kingdom Battle, Just Dance 2020, Cooking Mama Cookstar, NBA 2K20, Mario & Sonic at the Olympic Games Tokyo 2020, Fornite Darkfire Bundle, and LEGO the Incredibles. A full list has not been disclosed.
