During a stage event at Sword Art Online Beaters Meeting 2019, Bandai Namco revealed that it will add free costumes to Sword Art Online: Fatal Bullet Complete Edition. These include Prince Head from Katamari Damacy, Genpei Touma Den Face Paint, a Pac-Head from Pac-Man, and Pooka Goggles from Dig-Dug.

Bandai Namco also has more in store for the future. Sometime this summer, a new update will add even further high difficulty co-op dungeons. Finally, a winter update will include additional story.

Nintendo Switch

Nintendo has updated its maintenance schedule for the coming week, and fortunately, things are looking pretty light so far. At least for now, only one session is planned for Switch.

Another major Mortal Kombat 11 patch was made available this week on Switch. The update includes gameplay adjustments and fixes, a ton of character changes, and more.

WayForward has announced that it will be attending PAX West 2019. Shantae and the Seven Sirens, Vitamin Connection, River City Girls, and Mighty Switch Force! Collection will be playable. Exclusive merchandise will also be available.

PAX West 2019 runs between August 30 and September 3. Shantae and Vitamin Connection will be making their playable debuts at the expo.

Listings on Amazon reveal that Pokemon Sword and Pokemon Shield will be getting an official guide. It’ll be out alongside the games on November 22.

EA says it is “absolutely looking at more Switch games in our portfolio”. That’s according to chief studios officer Laura Miele, who spoke about plans for the system in the latest issue of Game Informer.

When asked about Switch and whether the company is reconsidering its investment there, Miele said:
