Batman: Arkham Origins comparisons

Digital Foundry’s latest tech investigation focuses on Batman: Arkham Origins. Unfortunately, Wii U was deemed the worst version out of the bunch, with the publication saying Origins suffers “considerably worse performance than the other formats.” The game simply doesn’t offer a steady frame rate.
You can find some comparison videos below, and Digital Foundry’s full piece here.

Assassin’s Creed IV: Black Flag – 91%
Batman: Arkham Origins – 78%
Batman: Arkham Origins – Blackgate – 77%
Deus Ex: Human Revolution – Director’s Cut – 90%
Disney Infinity (Toy Story) – 63%
Final Fight – 55%
Final Fight 2 – 52%
Final Fight 3 – 40%
Hakuoki: Memories of the Shinsengumi – 68%
LEGO Marvel Super Heroes – 91%
Mario & Sonic at the Sochi 2014 Winter Olympic Games – 49%
Moshi Monsters: Katsuma Unleashed – 25%
Super Mario 3D World – 93%
The Legend of Zelda: A Link between Worlds – 94%
Wii Sports Club – 68%
In ONM’s review of Super Mario 3D World, the magazine said, “Super Mario 3D World makes everyone else look like they had HD all wrong.” ONM also made note of the game’s high level of polish in each level. And for those concerned about post-game content, Super Mario 3D World apparently has quite a bit of it – as has been previously hinted.
Thanks to joclo for the tip.

Ubisoft says they have Watch_Dogs on the way to Wii U in response to question about future support for the console
Posted on 11 years ago by Austin(@NE_Austin) in General Gaming, News, Wii U | 5 Comments
“Ubisoft has a long-standing relationship with Nintendo. Most recently this has been reinforced by our varied and high-quality line-up for Wii U, with big titles including Assassin’s Creed IV Black Flag, Just Dance 2014, Rayman Legends, Tom Clancy’s Splinter Cell Blacklist already released and Watch Dogs on the way.”
– Ubisoft representative
The above doesn’t seem indicative of either a lack of support or a plethora of it coming forward– it’s just a standard PR response with very little going on under the hood.
